YOUNG AND RESTLESS RECAP FOR JUNE 3, 2026 • Nick and Phyllis face off, Claire and Holden return, and Stephanie gets an offer to stay in town.

In Wednesday's The Young and the Restless early recap, Nick gives Phyllis an ultimatum, Sienna's not so sure about the new club, Holden and Claire return to Genoa City, and Stephanie gets a big offer.

PHYLLIS TO NICK: YOU'RE A DRUGGY!

Phyllis and Nick continue their argument over Newman Enterprises and Matt Clark. Nick refuses to help get the charges against her dropped. Phyllis tells Nick he's a drug addict and is blackmailing her to get Newman back.

Nick says it's not about the drugs. Phyllis calls BS and gives a little reminder that she had to save his life after he overdosed on fentanyl. Nick goes off and says she stole his family's company, and if she doesn't return it, she'll get a one-way ticket to jail. Phyllis says he's just like Victor.

Michael appears and asks if he needs to step in. Nick says no. Michael asks how Nick is doing. Lauren told him about his overdose. Nick is now mad that Phyllis told Lauren. Nick lays it out: Phyllis has until the end of the day to decide her fate.

Phyllis tells Michael that Nick plans to lie to the police and tell them Phyllis knew about Matt's crimes and that she was knowingly harboring a criminal. But Nick says he will make sure there's no evidence for Christine to pursue in the case and will convince her that the incriminating emails were fabricated. Michael says if he does that, it will implicate Victor. Geez, this is complicated.

Nick says he'll make sure it's all settled if Phyllis hands over the company and takes off. Phyllis updates Michael on everything, and Michael asks her how much more she can take. Why not just move on?

Phyllis says the Newmans are so vindictive, and it's nothing but attacks, all the time. Michael listens, then suggests maybe she's just ready to let go and return it all. Phyllis says for the first time, yeah. It's probably her only option.

BACK AT THE RANCH

Nick returns to the ranch and asks Victor how it went with Matt. Victor says Matt wants to be reformed and will do anything to get free. Nick asks if he believes him. Victor isn't so sure and says only time will tell if he means it.

They both agree that they can't underestimate him. Nick says he told Christine he'd give up Matt if she drops the charges against Phyllis. Victor says he wouldn't approve of that. Nick says he knows, but it's the easiest way.

Nick says he doesn't want to see his ex, the woman who saved his life, go to prison. Victor rolls his eyes. Even though she saved his life, Victor wants his company back. Nick says he'll implicate Phyllis if she doesn't do the right thing. If she helps him, he'll prove the incriminating emails are fake. Victor asks why. Nick says it's because she followed through and got Matt.

Victor says he can NOT admit the emails are fake. Then he asks Nick if Matt Clark should be punished. Nick isn't so sure. I've got a feeling there's a redemption storyline for Matt Clark coming in 3, 2, 1.

SIENNA'S GOT A PROBLEM

Noah and Sienna discuss the new club, which looks just like the one she and Mitch ran in Los Angeles. Noah wants to know if she's having second thoughts. Sienna wasn't prepared to walk into a club that looked just like the one she had in L.A.

Sienna's appreciative, but she isn't sure about slipping back into anything that resembles the past with Matt. She loves that Noah did this and he meant well, but ugh, this recreation is a little too much, and she's still processing it all.

Sienna then focuses on what happens next with Matt. Noah says he hasn't heard from his dad yet. Noah asks Sienna what she thought about Matt getting his memory back. Sienna says she believes Matt and actually felt sorry for him during his breakdown. Noah says what happens next is anyone's guess.

STEPHANIE'S TOUGH CHOICE

Nate and Stephanie bump into each other. She says Malcom is doing very well and is in good hands after his procedure in New York. She decided to come back to Genoa City for her son, Holden. She thinks Holden hasn't fully comprehended that Malcom is his dad, so she wants to be there for him.

Sitting down for some iced tea, Nate asks her how long she plans to stay in town. He thinks she should relocate to Genoa City. Stephanie says Genoa City Memorial Hospital actually called her for an offer as Chief of Staff. Nate says he threw her name in the hat after they asked him if he was interested and said no thanks. He's happy at Winters.

Stephanie says she's up for at least checking out the opportunity because she'd like to be near Holden. She thinks she needs to repair some trust issues after keeping the secret that Malcom is his dad for so long.

CLAIRE & HOLDEN RETURN

Claire's back in Genoa City, and Victoria catches her up on the Newman saga and Matt Clark, then asks about Holden. Meanwhile, Holden sees Lily and Devon at Crimson Lights. Lily asks how Malcom's doing. Holden updates them.

Claire updates Victoria on Malcolm, too. She then tells her all about her New York City trip and all the sights she saw. Victoria asks if they are more than friends. Claire says she's not ready for anything serious. But they enjoy being together and have fun. Victoria says Claire thought Holden was keeping secrets from her. What's up? Has he told her anything?

Claire tells her mom that she thinks there's a secret about Holden getting some fast cash, but doesn't think it's all that bad. Claire's OK with not knowing all of Holden's past. Also, Holden opened up to her in NYC, and she saw a different side of him. Now, with Malcom being his dad, it's created a bond between Claire and Holden. Especially with Claire's past with Aunt Jordan.

Meanwhile, Holden and Devon have a little talk when Lily steps away for a call. Devon says he's protective of Lily and is acting like his normal, prickly self. Devon tells Holden he sees him as an opportunist and will need to prove himself to the Winters family.

Devon's concerned that Holden's going to try to pull a fast one to get some fast cash. Holden promises he's not planning to con the Winters family. Lily returns mid-conversation and asks if all is good. Of course, Devon and Holden say yes. Holden leaves, and Lily asks Devon what he said to her brother.

Holden shows up to see Claire, and Victoria excuses herself. Holden says he missed Claire. They hug. He tells her what Devon said, and yes, he's a bit of an opportunist. He gets it. But he's willing to prove himself to the family.

Lily lays into Devon for being tough on Holden. She knows there's no trust there, with Cane either. She wonders, could it be Devon doesn't trust Lily? Devon thinks Lily's logic has been clouded. She forgave Cane and has now opened up to Holden despite not knowing a damn thing about him.

Lily asks what she should do: be mad at everything, just like him. She straight up tells Devon she's worried because he seems to be pissed at the world lately. Go Lily!
