Tristan Rogers played Robert Scorpio on General Hospital for decades. Rogers passed away after battling cancer on August 14, 2025. He was 79. Recently, an ABC executive said Rogers and his character will be honored on-screen. Nathan Varni posted on X, "Since the character hasn’t passed away on screen, writers are working on a story to weave into the show later in 2026 for a proper send off."
