Mariah & Tessa | Y&R, CBS SONY

Mariah’s Meltdown Is Brewing & Tessa Knows It

Tessa’s trying to strum her way through the tension in the park, but let’s not pretend she doesn’t see right through Mariah’s blank stares and dodged hugs. Her wife has been crying in bed like it's a nightly ritual, and Tessa’s finally saying what we’re all thinking: something is seriously off. And no, Daniel, it’s not about Ian—it’s something darker. Meanwhile, Mariah is brushing off Sharon’s every attempt to pry, but Sharon isn’t buying her “I’m fine” act for one second. When even Sharon starts asking if this mess involves a one-night stand, you know we’ve entered crisis territory.

Mariah’s guilt is so loud it practically has its own zip code. But instead of opening up, she keeps locking the door and throwing away the key—despite Sharon practically begging her to let someone in. Poor Tessa is ready to rally the troops and stage an intervention. And just when we think it couldn’t get more awkward, Tessa sings her heart out in the park with Daniel… while Mariah looks like she wants to disappear into the bushes. The heartbreak? Palpable.

Victoria Plays the Waiting Game as Cole Clings On

At the Newman ranch, things are all tea and tension. Victoria arrives to update Nikki and Nick that Cole is still hanging on, but barely. She’s trying to stay strong for Claire, repeating the same hopeful script to anyone who’ll listen—he has to get better (uh-oh). And let’s be real, the woman is hanging by a thread. But Nikki’s there with comforting mom-vibes while Nick is busy prepping for a showdown with Dumas, the French party-thrower with questionable motives and suspicious guest lists.

Speaking of which, Victoria’s not going anywhere near France. She’s holding down the fort while the others go play spy games in Europe. If Dumas thinks he’s going to swoop in and claim Chancellor-Winters, he better come with a plan better than an open bar and fancy hors d’oeuvres.

Sally Holds Her Own While Phyllis Brings Intimidation Games

Billy barely kisses Sally hello before chaos comes creeping down the stairs in the form of Phyllis, whose mouth has no off switch. She comes in hot with the insults, the close-talking, and a boatload of judgment. Sally, of course, isn’t having it. When Phyllis tries to shade her about her “pyramid scheme” career path, Sally fires back like she’s training for the verbal Olympics. By the time Phyllis starts threatening party crashes and whispering sweet nothings to Amanda’s voicemail, it’s clear she’s got some game-changing drama in the pipeline.

Sally, meanwhile, is heading to France with Billy—and not just for the cheese and views. She’s making power moves, postponing her launch and low-key planning to stop Billy from tossing Victor into a decorative pool. She’s not backing down, no matter how many eye-rolls Phyllis throws her way.

Phyllis Plots Her Big Entrance While Everyone Stares

Phyllis’ thirst for chaos is unmatched. She’s working Amanda, she’s making calls, she’s practically screaming about being added to the guest list at Aristotle’s party. Sally and Billy are more confused than concerned, but let’s be honest—they know she’s up to something. And the fact that neither of them can figure out what makes it even juicier.

Meanwhile, Daniel sees right through his mother’s dramatic flair. She’s pretending not to care what people think, but the moment Sally and Billy walk by, she’s practically glowing with anticipation. Something’s coming, and knowing Phyllis, it’s going to blow the roof off the Y&R universe.

At the Park’s Edge, Secrets Teeter on the Brink

When Mariah finally flees to the overlook, it’s clear she’s unraveling. A flashback to a bar, too many drinks, and a mysterious old man who “just wants to be a friend” has all the hallmarks of a mistake she’s too scared to name. Tessa finds her again, still trying to reach her through song lyrics and love. But Mariah’s still not ready to confess what’s eating her alive. Whatever it is, it’s worse than a one-night stand—and she knows it could destroy everything she has with Tessa.
