Audra’s Not-So-Innocent Invite
Audra strutted into her meeting with Victor full of smug confidence, claiming she put his first payout to good use. Of course, she wouldn’t mind another installment, but Daddy Newman doesn’t hand out cash unless the manipulation meter hits the red zone. His orders? Make a move on Kyle—and no, not just a business one. She’s sure if she can pry him away from Claire, the rest will fall into place. As Audra saunters off, Holden pops up like a jealous ex-meets-private eye, calling her out on the sketchy scheme. He’s not wrong, but Audra’s got claws, and she’s not afraid to scratch. “Mind your business,” she purrs, though her body language screams, “Yeah, I’m up to something.” Victor’s still lurking in the shadows, savoring every scheming second.
Kyle Tries to Keep the Drama on Low
While Jack and Diane are packing for Aristotle Dumas' gathering in Nice like it’s fashion week meets corporate chess, Kyle stays behind to run Jabot. He’s pretending it’s all about work, but let’s be honest—he’s also dodging Victor’s drama and Audra’s seduction campaign. Speaking of which, Kyle isn’t blind. He sees the way Audra and Holden bicker like ex-lovers one second and secret agents the next. When Audra floats the idea of a “battle royale” between them (as if Jabot needs more theatrics), Kyle declines her come-hither campaign pitch. He’s not interested in turning Jabot into a soapier mess than it already is—at least not publicly.
Lily’s Unexpected Gift Hits the Right Note
Over at Crimson Lights, Damian surprises Lily with something that actually touches her heart—a signed copy of The History of Jazz, the same book her father once cherished. For once, there’s no business agenda or romantic tension, just genuine emotion. She’s moved, he’s relieved, and for a brief second, the drama takes a back seat. Of course, it doesn’t last. Lily’s “gift” in return? Letting Damian know Devon and Nate are considering hiring Holden. Well, that backfires harder than a bad perm when Holden storms in like a man scorned. The former BFFs go at it, with Holden ranting about betrayal, brotherhood, and being tossed aside like yesterday’s coffee. Damian is crushed, Lily’s stunned, and Holden’s friendship? Officially out of office.
Victor Pushes Buttons While the Abbotts Raise Eyebrows
Victor isn’t done being the puppet master. He warns the Abbotts about Aristotle’s party like he’s narrating a horror movie trailer—“You’ll be pawns in his bigger game,” he smirks before disappearing into the mist. Meanwhile, Diane is glowing with ambition and new outfits, ready to make a power play of her own. Jack’s all in—lunch, mystery, and all. But even they know Victor doesn’t hand out warnings without an ulterior motive. Kyle, meanwhile, is wary of Audra’s invitation to Nice, especially since she’s basically offering to be his sexy business plus-one. He declines (again), and when he walks away, Victor swoops in to remind Audra that “try harder” isn’t a suggestion—it’s an order.
