Monday's Y&R recap is dripping in drama, desperation, and more Dumas drama (SURPRISE!). Phyllis is on a one-woman mission to claw her way back to the top (with or without an invite to the Dumas party), Mariah is unraveling so hard she’s snapping at baristas, and Sharon’s too busy playing therapist to make her flight to France.

Phyllis Is Coming In Hot—With or Without a Seat at the Table
At the club, Phyllis had exactly zero patience for Daniel’s guitar passion project and couldn’t wait to drop the name Aristotle Dumas like it was some kind of career Hail Mary. She’s convinced this mystery man’s party in Nice is the key to her comeback tour. And while she’s got her eye on all the major players—Newmans, Abbotts, and maybe the Winters if they bother showing up—Daniel’s not buying the hype. He’s waving red flags and warning his mom she’s about to end up with a declined credit card and nothing but regret. But Phyllis? She’s convinced she’ll walk out with a brand-new power position and the entire town begging for her brilliance. Call her a shark? Please. She's starting to like the sound of it.
Sharon’s Torn Between France and Fear
Over at Crimson Lights, Sharon was deep in her feels, staring at photos of her girls when Nick dropped by with his usual mix of small talk and big concern. The topic? Mariah. Sharon's not just worried—she's terrified. And while Nick tries to play it cool, saying Mariah's a fighter, Sharon’s not buying that silver-lining nonsense. She almost backed out of the France trip altogether, and when Nick dared to ask if it was because of him, Sharon couldn’t resist fishing a little. Let’s just say that conversation danced around some unresolved feelings and one very loaded vacation plan. France might be full of drama, but right now, Sharon’s got a front-row seat to a breakdown happening right here at home.
Mariah Is Spiraling and Pushing Everyone Away
Meanwhile, in the park, Tessa was trying her absolute best to get Mariah to open up. But Mariah? She’s scared, haunted by memories of Ian, and guilt-ridden over what she did while she was away (something to do with an older man). One thing’s clear—she's cracking under the pressure, and not even Tessa’s unconditional love can pull her back just yet. The heartbreak, the flashbacks, the guilt—it’s all too much. And when Daniel later bumps into her at Crimson Lights and tries to check in, she snaps like a twig. Tessa walks in just in time to get the brunt of Mariah’s meltdown. Her demand? Back off. Ouch.
Nick and Sharon Share Almosts, While Phyllis Declares War
Nick reminded Sharon she was the one who talked him into London, and while she would love to go to France, Mariah’s crisis has her grounded. Nick's a little disappointed—but not surprised. He was clearly hoping for another European getaway with Sharon and maybe something more. As for Phyllis, she’s not backing down from her plan. Not only is she going to the party, but she’s convinced Dumas will be groveling at her feet by the end of the night. Daniel’s begging her to stop chasing this fantasy, but Phyllis is laser-focused. She's not doing this just for her—oh no—she claims she’s doing it for Daniel too. He’s not impressed. She calls it ambition; he calls it desperate. Tomato, tomahto.
Party Previews and Power Plays
At the bar, Phyllis and Sharon clinked drinks while swapping gossip about Nikki’s flashy new ride and who got the coveted party invites. Sharon got in as Nick’s plus-one. Phyllis? She got a personal invite. That’s right—she’s already one step ahead. And while the Newmans and Abbotts might need a referee, Phyllis is ready to stir the pot, make a scene, and walk away with all the spoils.
