Young and the Restless Recap - Tuesday, June 3, 2025 | Nikki Begs Victor to Show Kyle Mercy & Cole Relapses

At Nikki’s birthday bash, the fireworks weren’t just from the champagne—emotions were popping off too. Kyle went all-in trying to win Victor’s approval, Claire caught feelings while trying to manage her dad’s mysterious illness, and Victoria played nurse as Cole had a health scare that might not just be from bad hors d'oeuvres. Grab your charm bracelet and your reading glasses, it's time for Tuesday's The Young and the Restless recap.

Nikki & Victor | Y&R, CBS SONY

Kyle Tries to Seal the Deal—with a Contract, of Course

Kyle’s smooth speech about Nikki had everyone misty-eyed—well, everyone except Victor, who wouldn’t crack a smile if someone handed him Newman Enterprises on a silver platter. But Kyle? He’s not just bringing words—he’s bringing legal documents. That’s right, our designer-stubble prince marched right up to Victoria’s dad and offered to put five million dollars on the line if he breaks Claire’s heart. Kyle’s basically saying: “If I screw this up, I’ll pay for it. Literally.” Victor scoffs, naturally, because a Newman trusting an Abbott is about as likely as him skipping a power play. But Nikki begs him to just give the poor guy five minutes and a fair shot—birthday girl privileges, anyone?

Claire’s Dad Crashes the Party—And Not in a Fun Way

Just as the toasts are flowing and couples are twirling, Cole starts hacking like someone slipped him a bad oyster. Victoria and Claire practically drag him upstairs while everyone else pretends not to panic. Sharon’s quietly worried, Lauren’s watching Michael fret more over Victor than his own reputation, and Victor himself seems more focused on who might be making a move on Chancellor than his son-in-law’s lung function. Priorities, darling.

Later, Claire reveals to Kyle and Victor that Cole's had a relapse and wants to be left alone. Kyle offers a comforting hug while Victor, ever the charmer, suggests Cole see a doctor—because nothing says compassion like unsolicited medical advice.

Michael Can’t Quit Victor—But Lauren Might Quit Michael

Michael and Lauren work the room, doing their best impression of a political damage control team. Michael’s still playing both sides like a confused chess piece, trying to keep Victor happy while cuddling up to Team Abbott. Nick’s giving him the side-eye but still holding out hope that his former buddy might find his spine again. Lauren, on the other hand, has no time for that fantasy—she’s done waiting for Michael to grow a backbone.

Jack’s just grateful Diane’s looking stunning and not causing chaos. Nikki? She’s loving the Kyle-Claire chemistry, praising his toast, and urging Victor to take the love goggles off and see the good in Kyle. But Victor’s got his nose buried in his phone, acting like everyone else is just background noise.

Everyone’s Obsessing Over This Mysterious French Billionaire

As if one drama wasn’t enough, Aristotle Dumas has thrown out invitations like he’s hosting the soap opera version of Knives Out. Devon, Abby, and Ashley are all buzzing about their upcoming extended stay at the guy’s chateau—even though it sounds less like a vacation and more like the opening of a horror flick. Sharon’s not going, but Nick suggests she tag along as his plus-one. Sharon plays it cool, but we all saw that smile. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Adam are back on, and everyone’s got something to say about it. Even Nikki throws some shade when Sharon expresses shock over their reunion—classic Newman sass, right on cue.

One Toast, Two Endings, and Three Million Side-Eyes

Jack closes the night with a touching tribute to Nikki, the only one brave enough to get through an entire speech without Victor rolling his eyes. Adam and Chelsea duck out for tacos because, of course, they do—Connor’s got school in the morning, and this family can only handle one scandal at a time. Claire, still glowing from Kyle’s heartfelt gestures, asks him what deal he pitched to her grandfather. Kyle calls it an “offer.” Let’s just hope Victor calls it “accepted.”

Back in the now-empty lounge, Nikki gets sentimental over her bracelet and her life with Victor. She asks him—again—to show Kyle some mercy. He speaks your language, Nikki says. Contracts. Consequences. Love with a clause. Now that would be the ultimate gift.
