Luna Plays Rear Window While Plotting Steffy's Downfall
Let’s talk about Luna, because girl is not alright. While little Hayes is busy telling Steffy about seaweed and playing sweet beach school student, Luna is lurking outside like she’s casing the joint. She’s got a monocular (looks like a small telescope), a grudge and zero chill. Inside, Liam is practically vibrating with paranoia and urging Finn to stay on high alert. Finn, ever the protective dad, admits he’s sleeping next to a baseball bat. Not exactly restful, but hey, it’s Luna we’re talking about.
Liam keeps pressing the issue while Steffy tries to brush it off, but he’s got a bad feeling and isn’t letting it go. And he shouldn’t. Luna is outside, seething about being told to stay away from Hayes and grinning like she’s the Joker. Her little “You’ll be sorry, Steffy” moment? Chilling. This is no longer a little, lost orphan seeking her daddy. It’s a Lifetime, stalker movie in the making.
Ridge Swears He's All In With Taylor, But Does Anyone Really Believe That?
Over at the Forrester mansion, Ridge is kissing Taylor and dishing out sweet nothings like candy, but even she’s not buying his act completely. She straight-up asks about Brooke, and he dances around the answer like he's on a tightrope. Sure, he says his future is with Taylor and he’s not going anywhere, but the man’s track record is about as stable as a wobbly mannequin.
Taylor wants to believe him. She really does. But she knows Brooke’s not done fighting for him, and she’s right. Brooke is pulling every trick in the book, and Ridge? He’s trying to act committed while clearly still entertaining thoughts about his ex. Taylor vows not to let Brooke come between them, and Ridge promises he’s on the same page. But if his version of commitment involves wandering eyes and soft grunts, Taylor might want to keep one eye open.
Brooke and Nick Reignite the Flame Right Before Ridge Walks In
Meanwhile, Brooke is at Forrester Creations in lingerie that could stop traffic when Nick Marone strolls in looking smug and ready to romance. He tells her she’s amazing, they kiss, and suddenly it’s like no time has passed. Nick wants answers about what happened with Ridge, and Brooke admits Ridge felt betrayed over the takeover. Nick wastes no time pointing out the obvious. Ridge ran straight back to Taylor, per usual.
Nick goes all in with the charm, reminding Brooke what it’s like to be treated with respect by a man who actually chooses her. He asks the million-dollar question. What if Ridge is not her destiny after all? What if it’s him? They reminisce about their wedding on the Shady Marlin, he lays out a full commitment proposal, and just when Brooke’s heart might be doing a little cha-cha in her chest, guess who shows up?
That’s right. Ridge barges in with the energy of a man who knows he’s two steps away from losing his grip. He demands to know what Nick is doing there, and Nick, bless him, just tells the truth. “We were just talking about you.” Brooke’s face? Absolutely caught between two men and loving it, but also maybe rethinking that whole Ridge-is-my-destiny mantra. Finally!
Nick Wants a Real Future While Ridge Keeps Waffling
Nick isn’t just playing nostalgia games. He’s serious about wanting Brooke back in his life, but he’s not about to play second fiddle to Ridge again. He tells her to put the waffler behind her once and for all and take a chance on real happiness. Brooke doesn’t answer yet, but the tension in that office could cut diamonds.
With Ridge watching and Nick declaring himself, Brooke is officially at a crossroads. And if Ridge thinks he can have his Taylor and keep Brooke pining too, he’s got another thing coming.
