Nicole and Dani Go Full Smash Mode
Dani didn’t come to play — she came to help her sister get her groove back with some kitchen-floor carnage. When Nicole shows up looking like heartbreak incarnate, Dani knows just what to do: throw some damn mugs. With Anita out of town, Dani steps in like the rage-fueled fairy godmother Nicole didn’t know she needed. First rule of the club for women done dirty? Picture your ex in that cup.
Nicole was hesitant at first, but once she named her mug after Ted and hurled it to the floor with a shout of “skank-a-roonie,” she was practically glowing. Dani went in just as hard on Bill, reminding everyone that just because someone had a stroke doesn’t mean they didn’t make your life hell first. Emotional growth via ceramics? We’re here for it.
Leslie’s World Is Crashing Down — Finally
Over at Leslie’s place, she’s living in delusion land, watching her soaps like the villainous queen she is. Enter Jacob, who shows up with a shiny new search warrant and a hunch. After Kat sneakily returned the planted evidence, Jacob wastes no time digging around and — jackpot — finds the gloves and helmet. Leslie tries to act like this is just another setup, but we all know she’s sweating bullets behind that fake smirk.
Later, she's in full panic mode and calls Eva, who rushes over just in time for a guilt-drenched meltdown. Leslie's pulling the classic manipulative mom move — tears, guilt, the works. But Eva’s not buying it. She shuts her down with a calm but savage reminder that if she really wanted her mother to go down, she would’ve let Jacob find that evidence ages ago. Ouch.
Chelsea and Madison Heat Up — Quietly
While Leslie’s house is basically a crime scene, Chelsea’s out here trying to live her truth. She and Kat have a little chit-chat over food at Orphey Gene’s, where Chelsea insists Madison is just her dad’s doctor. LOL! Turns out, Chelsea does want something more, but she knows she needs to come out to her whole family first — including her recovering father.
Madison, meanwhile, is still trying to wrap her head around dating someone with a massive social media following and a complicated family. But she must be into Chelsea, because when Chelsea shows up at the hospital, Madison suggests dinner. Looks like Bill’s influence wasn’t enough to scare her away — at least not yet.
Jacob Has a Smoking Helmet But No Arrest Warrant
Just when Jacob thinks he’s got Leslie where he wants her, the judge hits him with a “not today.” Despite having visual proof that the helmet matches the one worn by the suspect, he’s denied the warrant to collect Leslie’s DNA. Kat is smug, Jacob is frustrated, and Leslie is probably throwing herself a private pity party. But make no mistake — that walls are closing in.
Anita Checks In, But Dani’s Holding Down the Fort
Anita’s off in Chicago playing reunion queen with the Articulettes, but her heart’s clearly still back home. Vernon offers her some long-distance comfort and promises to hold things down with the family, and Dani clearly takes that to heart. With Anita gone, Dani steps up big time for Nicole, proving once again she might be the family’s sharpest weapon — and softest heart.
