Martin and Kenneth | BTG, CBS

Leslie Crashes the Strategy Session with Swagger

Jacob and Kat were in full conspiracy mode, plotting how to bring Leslie down, when who should strut in like she owned the joint? That’s right, Leslie herself. She plants herself at their table at Orphey Gene’s, unbothered and uninvited, and calls Kat a brat with no filter. She even admits to enjoying their little meltdown more than her weekend mimosas. Then, get this, she offers to join their investigation. Kat nearly chokes on the delusion, but Leslie isn’t wrong when she points out that if she’s really as crafty as they think, maybe it’s smarter to work with her than against her. Jacob confirms a DNA match to the helmet they’re using as evidence, but it still doesn’t prove Leslie ran Laura off the road. One thing’s for sure though: the woman’s not leaving the game quietly.

Martin Faces Kenneth's Price Tag and It Is Not Cute

Kenneth has officially gone from problem to nightmare. Martin tries to press for what the guy actually wants, only to get a twisted smile and a demand: $100,000. To start. This isn’t a payout, it’s a payment plan from hell, because Kenneth says he wants reparations, and Martin’s wallet is the one that’s open. He makes a sick comment about Samantha, which nearly gets him decked, but he’s not backing down. Kenneth doesn’t need Martin’s respect, just his fear. If Martin makes one wrong move, Kenneth promises to send him straight to prison.

Martin races home and spills to Vernon, who is very not here for any full disclosure. Coming clean isn’t an option in Vernon’s book. He tells Martin to watch, wait and be ready, because making a move too soon could backfire. Meanwhile, Bill’s on the phone talking about drastic measures, clearly trying to handle his own crisis when Tomas barges in. Big mistake. Bill tells him in this business, knowing too much can be a very dangerous thing. Translation? Don’t get cute.

Dani Can’t Stop Thinking About Bill, and It’s a Problem

Dani is knee-deep in agency contracts when she suddenly starts having a moment with a vision of her ex. Oh yes, Bill is living rent-free in her head. Thankfully, Pamela arrives just in time to stop her from making an impulsive call. Dani swears she’s over him, but Pamela knows better. She throws shade at Hayley, calling her irrelevant, and tries to remind Dani that Andre is the one who treats her like gold. They shift gears to business, hunting for someone with star quality, but a hiccup in the paperwork sends Dani spiraling back into her Bill-era feels. Later, she does call him, but only gets his voicemail. Her response? A delicious little, “But you will be. Just you wait.”

Eva Gets a Pep Talk and a Promotion

Ted is running Eva through her new office manager duties like he just drank five espressos back-to-back. Eva’s unsure, already feeling like the job might be too much. Cue Nicole, who slides in with a reality check and a little inspiration. Nicole tells her she wasn’t just okay at the job, she was a rockstar. She warns Eva not to let fear hold her back and drops a little wisdom about how the hardest part is believing you deserve a win. That hits home. After their chat, Eva marches right back into Ted’s office and accepts the position with a little extra confidence in her step.

Vernon Wants Bill’s Help… but It’s Not That Simple

Bill and Vernon’s meeting at the Dupree mansion is as frosty as a snowstorm. Bill makes it clear that he doesn’t owe Vernon anything, but Vernon insists they’re tied together. If the Dupree empire crumbles, Bill’s not walking away untouched. Bill demands an apology for how Hayley’s been treated and calls out their hypocrisy. Vernon warns that if Bill walks away now, Kenneth could take them all down. After throwing around some perfectly polished threats, Bill agrees to wait for Vernon’s next move. But don’t mistake it for loyalty. He’s just not ready to lose. Soap Opera Reviews delivers daily spoilers and recaps so you never miss a thing. We live for the drama!
