Lulu clearly woke up and chose drama, but Tracy Quartermaine wasn’t having it—not even a little bit. At the Metro Court, Tracy sat Lulu down for a stern reality check about Brook Lynn and her very complicated adoption secret. Tracy clocked Lulu's meddling hard, accusing her of poking around where she doesn’t belong just because she stumbled on Brook Lynn’s business.Lulu swears she’s just looking out for what’s right (oh, please), but Tracy drags her with precision, asking how she’d like it if Brook Lynn turned her secrets into a hit single. Ouch. Lulu folds fast, promising to kill her article, but let’s be honest—only because Tracy asked nicely. The guilt trip worked, but Lulu still thinks Brook Lynn needs to tell the baby daddy the truth. Tracy walks off texting, and Lulu assumes she’s rallying backup. Honestly? She probably is.

Over at Sonny’s place, it’s all about heart-to-hearts—literally. Sonny drops the bomb that he had heart surgery and now he’s looking to cash out of the crime biz. Sidwell wants his piers, and Sonny’s ready to sell. Jason, ever the cautious one, thinks it reeks of a setup. But Sonny’s over the whole mob war thing and wants peace for once. He’s eyeing retirement like it’s a yacht in the Bahamas. |

Brook Lynn, Chase, and That Adoption News
At the Nurses Ball rehearsal, Brook Lynn is finally leveling up—emotionally, at least. She apologizes to Maxie for dragging her into her mess with Lulu and reveals she and Chase are adopting. Cue Maxie breathing a sigh of relief because she really didn’t want to play referee again.Anna and Chase are dancing like pros with Gio on the violin, and honestly, they might just steal the show. Back in the land of messy marriages, Curtis and Portia are having a heated little debate over Drew and whether or not Curtis should publish an editorial roasting him. Portia’s suddenly on Drew’s defense squad and tells Curtis to let it go—for her sake. He’s suspicious. Later, he meets with Jordan and tells her he thinks Portia is lying. |
