Liam Soaks Up Time with Kelly While Wrestling With Goodbye
Liam’s at the cliff house trying to act chill, playing cards with Kelly like everything's fine—when we all know his heart is quietly breaking into a million pieces. Kelly, sweet as ever, drops a gut-punch when she says she never wants him to leave. He assures her he’s going nowhere, even though we know he’s fighting battles she’s too little to understand. Cue Finn walking in and being the calm in the storm, joining their cozy card game and reminding everyone that life, unfortunately, moves on.
After Kelly heads to bed, Liam and Finn get real. They talk about Liam’s secret situation—one he hasn’t even told Li about, still pretending he's crashing at the cliff house because of a busted pipe. Nice try, buddy. Liam confesses he doesn’t know how to explain all this to his daughters, especially Kelly, who's old enough to feel something’s up. Finn, ever the steady friend and more-than-a-doctor, offers his support. If Liam doesn’t want to walk this road alone, Steffy’s there. So is Finn. The love triangle might be complicated, but at least this bromance is solid.
Ridge Puts Steffy on the Spot Over Hope’s Comeback
Back at Forrester, Ridge is not here for Steffy’s sudden about-face when it comes to Hope. He struts in, interrupting her moment with Taylor, demanding to know what’s really going on. Steffy tries to play it cool, saying her priorities have changed and that maybe, just maybe, bringing Hope back isn’t the worst idea. Ridge isn’t buying the vague act—especially since Hope gave him a similar “shifted priorities” line.
Taylor’s all sunshine and light, calling it growth, while Ridge smells secrets. He straight-up asks what’s really going on between Steffy and Hope. Steffy claims they’re just working things out slowly and nothing is being rushed. Also, she’s not about to relaunch Hope for the Future without backup. Taylor then throws Carter into the mix, clearly fishing, and Steffy admits her feelings are complicated. Sure, she wants Hope to be happy—but that doesn’t erase what went down in the power shuffle.
Hope Says Yes—and Carter Can Breathe Again
Meanwhile, over at Carter’s place, Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Devoted is pulling out all the stops. He’s on bended knee, heart wide open, holding out a ring and promising the moon. Hope, cautious but visibly moved, tries to stay grounded. After all, this man once broke her heart like it was a weekend hobby. Still, the sparkle in Carter’s eyes and the sincerity in his voice are hard to resist.
He vows never to let anything come between them again, and Hope’s emotional walls start to crumble. He says he’ll love her, respect her, be there for Beth, and maybe even expand their family one day. Who could say no to that kind of full-package fantasy? Not Hope. With tears in her eyes, she finally whispers the words he’s been dying to hear: “Yes, Carter Walton. I will be your wife.” Just like that, a new chapter begins—with a kiss, a ring, and a whole lot of hope. Literally.
