Hope Puts Herself First
Hope was done waiting in the wings. After months of mixed signals, emotional fallout, and Carter Walton playing tug-of-war with his feelings, Hope finally reclaimed her spot, center stage. She confided in her mother, Brooke, that she and Carter were back together. And not just in a maybe-we’ll-see way—Hope was ready to stop looking back and start living in the now. She made it clear she wasn’t going to waste another second on what-ifs or Liam’s emotional yo-yo routine.
Brooke, naturally, was thrilled. Her daughter finding happiness again gave her even more reason to believe that destiny and love are always worth fighting for. Hope and Carter locked in their relationship with a new sense of clarity—and this time, it might actually stick.
Daphne Gets the Boot
While Hope was embracing her future, Daphne Rose was getting blindsided. Carter came clean and admitted his heart still belonged to Hope. Ouch. Daphne, who had long warned him that Hope wasn’t over Liam, now found herself on the receiving end of heartbreak. Meanwhile, Ridge continued his usual juggling act. Taylor laid her heart on the line again, reminding him that their love has always been deep, meaningful, and complicated in all the right ways. Ridge listened, touched by her words and clearly still feeling something strong for his longtime love.
But old habits die hard. The moment he was alone, Ridge drifted into his memories—of Taylor and, of course, of Brooke. The man can’t go five minutes without pining over both women. Classic Ridge: stuck in a love triangle that’s lasted longer than some marriages and most television series.
Brooke Isn’t Giving Up
If Ridge thought Brooke was going to quietly step aside while he got cozy with Taylor, he needs a reality check. Brooke was all-in on her belief that she and Ridge are meant to be, that Ridge is her destiny. She told Hope she’s still holding on to their history and everything they’ve built. In Brooke’s mind, true love doesn’t fizzle out—it just waits for the right moment to reignite.
Even with Ridge back in Taylor's arms, Brooke made it crystal clear she’s not giving up. She’s not here to compete—she’s here to claim what she believes is hers. One way or another, she’s betting Ridge will realize where his heart truly lies. And when he does, Brooke will be right there waiting.
