Luna Keeps Pouring Trouble
Will is already stumbling as he dances with Electra and the masked crowd, looking every bit the tipsy trust fund heir. Behind the bar, Luna keeps her cover as a waitress, ignoring yet another warning about the dangerously strong alcohol she’s sneaking into Will’s drinks. She insists she knows exactly what she’s doing, which is the scariest part. In her head, this is not just Will’s special night, it’s hers too. Yikes.
Sheila and Deacon Clash Over Luna
Meanwhile, Sheila is busy juggling two things at once. On the phone, a frantic Li is demanding to know where Luna disappeared to. Sheila puts two and two together, realizing her granddaughter is probably already at the party. She tries to soothe Li, but her own nerves are buzzing. Deacon intercepts her before she bolts, and soon they’re hashing out the Luna problem. Sheila believes Luna can change with love and support, much like she claims she did. Deacon is having none of it. For him, Luna is beyond redemption, and all he can feel for her is contempt. It’s a harsh stance, but he doesn’t back down.
Electra Walks Away From Will
At the party, things heat up between Will and Electra, but not the way he hoped. After sharing a few laughs with Zende, Electra finally unmasks and tells Will she’s not going home with him. She likes him, sure, but she’s not ready for that step. Then she leaves, leaving Will heartbroken and slurring to anyone who will listen. Zende does his best to talk him down, but Will is a hot mess.
Deacon Takes Charge, Luna Moves In
Concerned guests urge Deacon to intervene, and he finally cuts Will off. Acting the responsible adult, Deacon convinces Will to crash in his spare apartment upstairs. Will passes out face-first on the bed, and Deacon gently bids him goodnight. The moment the coast is clear, Luna creeps in. She slips on Electra’s discarded mask, stands over Will, and whispers, “Finally.” That smile of hers? Pure trouble.
