Ava Plots While Ric Works His Angles
At the Metro Court pool, Ava was happily lunching with Nina until Ric strutted by with Liz. Appetite gone. Nina admitted she also despises Ric, but confessed she secretly hired him to help Willow. Ric was already bragging to anyone who would listen that he was taking Willow’s case pro bono. Liz praised his generosity, but Ava was quick to point out that Liz was falling for the same old liar. Ava agreed to keep Nina’s secret but promised herself she’d find a fresh way to sabotage Ric and Liz. Because of course she will.
Stella Faces the Consequences
At Aurora, Curtis fumed about Drew abusing his power. Stella, ever practical, said they had to face reality and accept that Drew had won. She even admitted she might have to pay the price for her so-called good deeds. Alexis gave her the harsh truth that prison could be on the table. Curtis vowed he would not let that happen and insisted they would mount the strongest defense possible.
Martin Turns on Drew
Over at the PCPD, Drew demanded Martin sign his statement. Martin refused and took him aside for a private reality check. He accused Drew of stabbing both him and Stella in the back and warned him to call off his dogs. Drew flat-out refused, proving his vendetta against Curtis was stronger than any sense of loyalty. Furious, Martin told Drew he was fired and good luck paying his ex-wives.
Martin then marched back to Turner and said he would not be signing anything, claiming his memory was suddenly fuzzy. Case closed. Drew erupted, accused Turner of being on Sonny’s payroll, and then ranted at Michael, swearing Willow would get her kids back no matter who he had to destroy.
Molly’s Wild West Fantasies
At Bobbie’s, Molly was deep in her 1800s fantasy world, dreaming up a romance between Cowboy Cody and Southern Belle Delilah. Reality struck when the real Cody showed up to grab takeout. Molly tried to chat, but he brushed her off and told her to Google her horse questions. Smooth, Cody. Real smooth.
Kristina arrived, and Molly griped about his rudeness. Kristina reminded her that Maxie’s crisis had Cody on edge. Molly instantly felt guilty and admitted Cody had been there for her more than once. She wished she could do the same for him. By the end of the day, Molly could not stop thinking about Cody and finally blurted to Michael that she might actually have feelings for him.
Lulu and Brook Lynn Call a Truce
At Maxie’s, Lulu was rattled when Obrecht mentioned the word coma. Memories of her own lost time with Rocco came flooding back. For once, Lulu listened instead of lashing out. She even admitted she might have been unfair. Obrecht confessed she should have been honest when Rocco reached out about Britt, and the two women managed to find some fragile middle ground.
Later, Brook Lynn arrived after receiving Lulu’s call. The two recalled how Maxie once tricked them into meeting to call a truce. It did not stick then, but today it did. Lulu stunned everyone by finally laying down her sword and choosing peace. Who knew?
Tracy Dishes Out Tough Love
At the Quartermaine stables, Brook Lynn was drowning in guilt, feeling Lulu had more of a claim to be at Maxie’s bedside. Tracy snapped her out of it with a pep talk that only Tracy could deliver. She reminded Brook Lynn that Maxie saw the best in her and that she should not let her rivalry with Lulu keep her from showing up for her friend. Brook Lynn listened, and for once, Tracy’s words hit home.
Cody Vows No More Lies
Cody checked in with Felicia at the hospital, then later opened up to Tracy at the stables. He admitted he could not stop thinking about all the wasted time he spent lying. Tracy, blunt as ever, told him regret was useless and to move forward. Cody agreed and made a vow to live honestly from now on. Let’s see how long that lasts in Port Charles.
The Final Twists
Nina snuck to the hospital for a glimpse of Willow but instead stumbled upon Drew pouring lies into Willow’s ear. He begged her to believe him, pulled her into an embrace, and promised he would get her kids back. Nina’s face said it all.
At Maxie’s, Lulu and Brook Lynn put their truce into action, agreeing to stand united for Maxie and the Scorpios. Obrecht delivered flowers, and Felicia insisted she stay because she is family. That word hit heavy.
At the stables, Ava dropped by to console a sweaty Cody. He admitted he was no saint, but Ava reminded him she saw the good in him. Their moment was almost tender. Almost.
Meanwhile, Sonny warned Justine she had made an enemy in Drew. She did not seem scared, but she probably should be. Over at Aurora, Martin declared Drew had made yet another enemy in him. And at the hospital, the camera froze on Willow in Drew’s arms as Nina looked on. The question remains: is Willow really falling for his pitch, or is she just playing him to get what she wants?
