General Hospital Recap - Friday, August 15, 2025 | Jason and Britt Lock Eyes as Drew Pushes His Luck With Sonny

It was a wild Friday on General Hospital! Curtis and Portia tried to put the pieces of their romance back together, Drew couldn’t stop stirring the pot no matter how many warning signs he ignored, and Joss proved once again she’s a boss under pressure. Oh, and Jason finally arrived at The Five Poppies, just in time to cross paths with Britt. Sparks? Trouble? Probably both.

Portia and Curtis Heat Things Up

Portia and Trina hit the dress shop so Portia could snag the perfect look for her big night with Curtis. Trina was all about her mom finally getting another shot at happiness, and Portia made it clear she was done with secrets. Over at Jordan’s shiny new place, Curtis toasted champagne with his ex and admired her fancy kitchen before wisely heading out when things got a little too cozy. But the real fireworks came later when Curtis and Portia sat down to their romantic dinner. By dessert, the two were making promises about doing things right this time and sealing it all with a kiss. Let’s just say the night did not end at the restaurant.

Drew Digs Himself Deeper

Drew must think “boundaries” is a foreign word, because once again he proved he doesn’t know when to quit. At the Metro Court, Tracy and Stella spotted him with Martin and immediately went into side-eye mode. When Michael showed up with Wiley, Drew decided it was the perfect time to play savior and tell Wiley that Mommy misses him. Wrong move. Michael went off, punched Drew square in the face. Tracy finally saw the light and cut ties with Drew, vowing to ruin him. Later, Drew actually had the nerve to show up at Sonny’s door, banging and yelling like he owned the place, and threatened to get Michael arrested for assault unless Sonny played ball. Not a good look, Congressman.

Sonny Gets a Dinner Guest

While Donna was busy charming DA Turner into staying for pizza night, Sonny played gracious host. Donna made it clear she liked Turner, and the girl does have great instincts. Turner apologized to Sonny for being too harsh in the past, trying to convince him she’s not one of those slimy prosecutors. Cute attempt, but we all know what she’s really after. Once Donna was tucked away with her movie, Sonny made sure Turner knew that certain anonymous “gifts” probably wouldn’t be coming her way anymore. Then Drew barged in, threatening blackmail. Let’s just say Turner suddenly knew exactly where to hide.

Trouble at The Five Poppies

Meanwhile, across the globe, Joss got herself fired from Vaughn’s mission and was told to make a dramatic exit. Classic soap move: she stormed off but didn’t stay gone. Vaughn’s night turned violent when an assassin posing as room service pulled a gun. Vaughn tackled him, but things got ugly fast. Britt tried to sneak her way into Christopher Nash’s room but got busted by Pascal, who reminded her she had orders to follow. Enter Jason, rolling into Croatia under his latest alias and checking in with Pascal like the pro he is. And then, finally, the moment we've been waiting for: Jason and Britt locked eyes across the resort. Cue the gasps.

Back in Joss’s corner, the assassin had Vaughn in a chokehold when she walked in. Super Spy Joss spotted the dropped gun, picked it up, squinted, and pulled the trigger. Looks like Joss Jacks is officially ready for the big leagues.
