Finn Won’t Let Grace Off the Hook

At the hospital, Grace threw herself at Finn’s mercy with enough tears to flood the corridors. She begged him to keep quiet about the stunt she pulled with Liam, insisting that dangerous bookies were after her and her daughters. Finn wasn’t buying the pity act. He fired back about Liam’s daughters and what her little scheme could mean for them. Grace swore it was over and pleaded to keep her license.

Finn was practically shaking with disbelief as he pointed out that she had done to Liam exactly what Reese once did to Hope and Liam years ago. She let him believe he was dying. Grace clung to her excuse that it was all to protect her children. Finn told her to confess, warning that Liam would spend his life fearing a return of the cancer he never had. She pushed for more time, sobbing that she would lose everything. Finn finally told her he would not tell Liam. Then he twisted the knife. He would not tell him because she was going to do it herself.

Liam’s Million-Dollar Revelation

Over at Bill’s place, Hope updated Liam on Ridge playing hero in Italy and saving Brooke from a boat crash. Liam then casually dropped the kind of detail that makes jaws drop. Bill had wired Dr. Grace Buckingham one million dollars for Liam’s surgery without hesitation. Hope was stunned, not just at the money but at the fact that it went straight to Grace’s hands before the procedure even happened.

Sheila Hunts for the Truth About Luna

At Il Giardino, Sheila was lost in thought about Luna until Deacon reminded her that she should be glad the young woman was gone from their lives. He urged her to move on, but Sheila was not letting go. She decided she would track down Finn, certain they could connect now that Steffy was out of town.

Meanwhile, at Li’s home, Li tended to a weak and unconscious Luna, vowing she would not let her life end this way. She reluctantly left for the hospital to get the medicine Luna needed.

Back at the hospital, Sheila cornered April the lab tech in Li’s office, asking about Luna’s remains. April could find no record in the system, which only fed Sheila’s suspicion. Just as Sheila was about to follow April out, Li walked in. The two collided, spilling medication from Li’s bag. As Li scrambled to gather them up, Sheila looked her dead in the eye and demanded to know where her granddaughter was.

The Moment of Truth Arrives for Grace

Back at Bill’s, Hope was still reeling over Bill’s wire transfer when Finn and Grace arrived. Grace wanted to turn right back around, but Liam and Hope were too busy praising her for saving his life. Hope even told her how hard it had been knowing their girls might lose their father. Liam thanked her for her courage, but Grace could not accept the praise.

“You have no idea what’s really going on here,” she said. Finn cut in, telling her to go ahead and tell them. Then he dropped the bomb. “Tell Liam the truth about his brain cancer.”
