Grace Drops the Cancer Bombshell

At Bill’s place, Finn pushes Grace to tell Liam the truth about his so-called brain cancer. Liam and Hope brace for bad news, only for Grace to casually drop that there was never any tumor. Liam laughs in relief, but Finn urges him to listen as Grace explains. 

She admits she faked the scans, gave him meds to mimic symptoms, and even performed a pretend surgery. Why? Hope thinks it’s obvious — a million reasons. Liam explodes, lunging at Grace before Finn steps in. Hope delivers a stinging soap slap, accusing her of being sick. Grace sobs that she was desperate because bookies were after her family, but Liam is unmoved. He tells her she robbed him of months of his life. Grace vows to turn herself in, and Finn escorts her to the police station while Hope weeps in Liam’s arms.

Bill’s Big Regrets

Over at Forrester, Bill reflects on almost losing Liam and declares Grace a miracle worker worth every cent of the million he paid her. Katie is skeptical, pointing out the odd timing after Liam’s gunshot recovery. Bill admits he’s been a tyrant and now wants to make things right. He regrets freeing Luna from prison and credits Grace for giving him a second chance with Liam. Little does he know, the so-called miracle was a full-blown scam.

Sheila Forces the Truth

At Li’s office, Sheila notices prescription meds spilling from Li’s handbag and presses for details about Luna’s remains. Li brushes her off, but once alone, Sheila finds a stray pill and her mind starts churning.

Li is at home caring for Luna when a fake delivery lures her to the door. Sheila jams her foot in before Li can slam it shut, accusing her of hiding something. She brandishes the pill and accuses Li of self-medicating in grief. When Li tries to push her out, Sheila shoves her way in and pulls back the curtain on a stunning sight — Luna, very much alive. Sheila gasps that her granddaughter has been with Li all along.
