Victor Seethes and Plots

Victor stormed back to Nikki fuming that the Abbotts derailed his pursuit of Carter. Nikki pressed him for details on his latest scheme, but all Victor could focus on was Cane keeping Nick and Sharon under house arrest. Later, Victor warned Cane not to push him any further. Nikki, meanwhile, fretted that Carter might be in on Cane’s plan and doubled down on her belief that family is the only safe bet. Kyle overheard Victor agreeing and filed that little tidbit away.

Kyle Stands Up to Victor

Fresh off of hearing Victor, Kyle confronted him about using Audra to break up his romance with Claire. Victor denied any manipulation, but Kyle wasn’t buying it. He vowed never to hurt Claire and announced they were moving in together and nothing can stop them. Victor gave him a chilling smile and says, "Watch me". Proving once again that nothing rattles the Newman patriarch like a determined Abbott.

Nick and Sharon Work Their Way Out

Locked away in Cane’s not-so-cozy prison, Sharon struggled with her breathing until Nick calmed her with a hug that felt second nature. They distracted themselves with playful teasing about Nick’s disastrous hair days but kept their focus on escape. Scouring their surroundings, they discovered a 1924 DeLeon family photo album and a champagne stash. Nick got to work fashioning a lockpick out of wire, inspired by Sharon’s legendary knack for this kind of thing. Their nerves spiked as they wondered if and why Cane bulldozed a vineyard for a maze and whether Colin’s shady influence had fueled Cane’s fortune.

Secrets, Suspicions and Eavesdropping

Cane reviewed security footage while Amanda eyed him suspiciously, convinced he was deleting evidence. Cane shot back that Amanda might be the one tampering to protect someone else. Amanda refused to be part of a cover-up, reminding Cane she wouldn’t defend him blindly. She urged him to release Nick and Sharon, but Cane insisted he needed more time and would speak with Chance.

Out in the statue garden, Audra comforted Lily over Damian’s death when a rustling in the bushes sent them both into defense mode. Out popped Phyllis, gleefully admitting she had been snooping for murder clues. She doubled down on her belief that Cane and Nick were not Damian’s killers, but Lily couldn’t shake the theory that Cane acted out of jealousy. Phyllis warned her to keep emotion out of the equation, but the clash between the women is only heating up.
