Claire Chooses Kyle Over the Newmans
Claire was expected to be at the ranch to grieve Cole with her family, but surprise, surprise... she had other plans. While Victoria urged her daughter to stick close to her loved ones during this painful time, Claire made a beeline for Kyle instead. At the park, she melted into his arms, desperate for answers and comfort. And when she found out about Victor’s recent manipulations, she wasn’t exactly thrilled. Even Kyle looked uneasy as he avoided telling her everything. Whatever he's hiding, Claire can feel it, and it’s not sitting well.
Victor Throws a Fit and Everyone Rolls Their Eyes
Over at the ranch, Victor was fuming when he realized Claire skipped out on the family reunion to see Kyle. Nikki, Victoria, and even Nick tried to get him to chill. She’s young, she’s in love, and she’s grieving. But Victor doesn’t do soft, especially when he feels disrespected. So naturally, he dug in his heels and doubled down on his disapproval. That didn’t stop Claire from eventually showing up and rushing straight into his arms, brushing past the rest of the family like she was dodging unwanted hugs at a wedding. Classic Claire.
Audra’s Back... and Things Get Awkward Fast
At Society, Nate and Audra shared a cozy moment until the Abbotts showed up. Diane practically hissed when she saw Audra across the room, but Jack decided to play nice and offer Nate condolences. Audra pretended to be all sympathy and sorrow, but Diane wasn’t buying it. And when Kyle and Claire arrived, things really got frosty. Claire welcomed Audra with the fakest smile in town, and Kyle made sure to get in a snarky jab about her investor troubles. Nate noticed the tension too and later pressed Audra for answers. Her vague deflections only made him more suspicious.
The Abbotts Weigh Risky Moves Against Victor
Back at home, Jack and Diane were licking their wounds after their not-so-romantic trip, wondering what Victor might pull next. Diane worried that Kyle’s involvement in Victor and Audra’s little scheme would blow up in his face. Jack, however, was starting to think outside the box... like possibly teaming up with Cane if it meant protecting Kyle and putting Victor in his place. Bold strategy, Jack. Let’s see if it pays off.
Nick and Sharon Get Real After That Kiss
While the Newmans were busy managing grief and power plays, Nick and Sharon shared a quieter moment. After Sharon slipped out of the family gathering, Nick followed, sensing she needed support. Turns out, they also needed to talk about that kiss. Should they define it or just wait to see if it happens again? Either way, Sharon was welcomed back in like family, and Victor even managed to give a rare pep talk promising they could face anything if they stood together. Shocking, right? Maybe there’s a soft spot in the mustache after all. Doubtful.
