Audra and Kyle | Y&R, CBS SONY |
Kyle Wrecks Audra’s World
Night fell over the maze as Audra tried to smooth things over with Kyle, but he was not in a forgiving mood. He told her she had lost everything and now reeked of defeat. When she grabbed his wrist, Kyle snapped back that she had sold her soul and nearly her body to get ahead. Audra swore she never wanted him and even tried to twist the knife, insisting Claire would never forgive him if he betrayed her. Kyle was unmoved. He revealed he already told Victor and Nikki about Audra’s betrayal and promised that the Newman wrath would obliterate Vibrante and her career. Audra warned that having nothing left made her dangerous, but Kyle stood firm, leaving her seething and empty-handed.
Nick Bleeds Out While Sharon Panics
Meanwhile, Sharon finally picked the lock on their prison cell, only for Nick to find a guard waiting. A brutal fight erupted, and Nick ended it with a bottle to the head, but not before taking a deep stab wound to his torso. He tried to brush it off, muttering pep talks to himself as blood soaked his shirt. Sharon’s panic skyrocketed when Nick collapsed. She ran for help and found Billy, who rushed back with her. Billy found Nick unconscious and barely clinging to life. He slapped Nick awake and tried to joke, but the gravity was clear. With no doctor nearby and Nick’s bleeding out of control, Billy could only apply pressure and hope for a miracle.
Billy Turns on the Charm with Cane
Earlier, Billy spent his evening buttering up Cane over drinks, pretending their past was water under the bridge. Cane stayed focused on his guests’ safety but indulged Billy’s pitch, promising to consider working together once the murder mystery was solved. Billy, obsessed with reclaiming Chancellor, reminded Cane that he could be a powerful ally in Genoa City. Cane kept his cards close, but the bond between the men had Billy feeling like he finally found a “real brother.”
Victor Corners Carter with a Smoking Gun
On the train, Chance grilled Carter about his movements on the night of the murder. Carter stuck to his story until Victor arrived to drop a bombshell: someone saw Carter planting a blood-soaked knife in Nick’s sleeping car. Carter called it a lie, but when he tried to defend himself, Chance and Victor caught him in a slip-up. He mentioned the knife was hidden under a sink, a detail they had never revealed. As the walls closed in, Cane swooped in, insisting he needed to speak to Carter privately to find the real killer.
Jack Reconsiders His Future
Elsewhere, Jack and Diane wrestled with what to do about Billy. Jack feared his constant support might be enabling his brother’s worst impulses and wondered aloud if it was time to sell his stake in Abbott Communications. Diane offered quiet support but worried Jack would never truly cut Billy off. Jack’s heartbreak was clear as he considered whether stepping away might finally force Billy to find his own path.
