Kyle Shuts Audra Down
Audra thought she could turn on the charm, but Kyle had other plans. Their makeout session on the train came to a screeching halt when Kyle, still flaunting his shirtless confidence, accused her of scheming to ruin things with Claire. Audra insisted her kisses were pure panic over Damian’s murder, nothing more. Kyle was not convinced and called her out for teaming with Victor to destroy his relationship. After trading barbs, Kyle revealed he only kissed her to prove she would go all in, which she did. Audra stormed out fuming, and Kyle promised to let Victor know she failed.
Nick and Phyllis Collide Over Cane
In the bar car, Phyllis stood her ground that Cane could never be a killer until Nick stormed in with proof to the contrary. He claimed Cane’s surveillance footage of Damian’s murder had been wiped and accused Cane of framing him. Phyllis pushed back, insisting that missing footage doesn’t make Cane a murderer. Nick fired back that she was siding with Cane and throwing away their friendship. Sharon agreed with Nick, leaving Phyllis feeling cornered and betrayed. Nick stormed off to alert the authorities while Phyllis complained Sharon didn’t even try to defend her.
Billy and Jack’s Brotherly Blowup
The Abbott brothers clashed in the garden when Billy accused Jack of undermining him at Abbott Communications. Jack said Billy was more obsessed with beating Victor and Jill than running a company. Voices were raised, threats were made, and Billy declared he would pull out completely and have Cane buy Jack out, effectively ending their business partnership. After Jack stormed off, Phyllis joined Billy, reminding him he never sees anything through. She ranted about Genoa City treating her like dirt, especially now that Cane is accused of murder. Billy laughed at her despair, but when Phyllis insisted Cane was innocent, the two agreed to team up. Billy wants Chancellor back, Phyllis wants a job, and Cane needs clearing, so a plan is in the works.
Nick and Sharon Get Taken In
Nick and Sharon barely had time to plan their next move before Cane’s assistant Carter arrived with a guard to put Nick under house arrest since he’s the prime suspect in Damian’s murder. Carter then discovered Sharon in the room and insisted she come along too. Sharon protested, but Carter made it clear they had no choice. As the guard prepared to lead them away, Nick and Sharon exchanged panicked looks, realizing their situation had taken a dire turn.
