Nikki’s Nightmare Pushes Her to the Edge
Nikki wakes up rattled after a chilling dream of her kids screaming for her. She confides in Lauren about Cane blocking her from seeing Nick and worries what Vikki and Cole might be going through. Lauren pleads for caution, but Nikki’s laser-focused on one thing: saving her son. She even admits she’d hand Chancellor over to Cane in a heartbeat if it meant keeping Nick safe. Lauren warns that she’s walking right into Cane’s trap, but Nikki’s mind is made up.
Bloody Secrets and Deadly Allegiances
Victor and Chance press Cane and his so-called robotic freak Carter about the bloody knife planted under the sink in Nick’s room. How would Carter know that detail unless he was involved? Cane brushes it off as absurd, but Victor isn’t buying it. Chance suspects Carter could have killed Damian to protect his boss. Cane demands loyalty, while Carter swears Cane gave him purpose and he’ll always protect him. What neither realizes is that Victor and Chance are eavesdropping just a hedge away, determined to expose the truth.
Nick Fights to Hold On
Sharon’s desperate to keep Nick conscious as his wound worsens. She distracts him by talking about the kids and insists they’re not losing him tonight. Billy fetches Sally, who pulls out a makeshift medical kit that involves alcohol, salt, and teabags. Nick groans through the pain, muttering jokes about the circus as Sharon promises he’ll look Cane in the eye when he’s cleared. Sally calls it a group effort, but the worry in her and Billy’s eyes says it all. Time is running out.
Cane’s Web of Lies Tightens
In the maze, Amanda questions Carter about covering for Cane, but he insists it’s ridiculous. Lily’s arrival adds tension, especially when Cane appears and is met with her disgust. Later, Cane privately grills Carter: did you hide the knife because you think I killed Damian? Carter’s eyes well up, torn between loyalty and truth. Meanwhile, Nikki crashes in, demanding Nick and Sharon’s freedom. Against Lauren’s advice, she announces she’s ready to trade Chancellor for her son’s life. Amanda holds the power to make the deal happen, but Lauren’s horrified. It’s clear Cane’s been playing this game all along.

Carter snaps and takes Lily hostage, forcing Cane and Chance to plead with him not to make things worse. Cane rages when he realizes the walls are closing in, sweeping everything off his desk in frustration. Victor’s phone rings, signaling Cane’s crushing defeat. But Cane doesn’t think this game is over, and neither should we.
