Anita’s Spotlight Dilemma Turns Up the Heat

With the Articulettes reunion just hours away, Anita is on the verge of a glam-induced meltdown. The Dupree name is already teetering on scandal overload, and the last thing she needs is to make things worse with a flop performance. Enter her agent, Jim, who casually suggests that Anita should sprinkle in a solo jazz number during the reunion show. Uh-oh.

Anita initially shoots him down, insisting the spotlight belongs to all three ladies. But the seed is planted, and before long, she’s confessing the offer to Sharon and Tracy and putting the whole thing up for a vote. These women have just started acting like a team again and now they have to decide whether to hand the mic to their headliner or keep it strictly trio. Raise your hand if you can smell the tension brewing from the balcony.

A Costume Glow-Up and a Surprise Plot Twist

Chelsea walks in on Sharon and Tracy mid-rehearsal and nearly gasps at their concert costumes — and not in a good way. She tries to stay polite, calling the outfits “retro,” but the shade is strong. Sharon and Tracy panic until Chelsea volunteers to revamp the look, promising Anita will love it. She even sits them down for an adorable interview that turns surprisingly sweet, considering these two nearly murdered each other in Chicago not long ago. Growth, ladies!

When Anita returns, she’s all in on the new wardrobe and grateful for the olive branch from her former frenemies. But just as things are smoothing out, Anita drops the bombshell about Jim’s solo offer. Talk about timing.

Nicole’s Therapy Plans Get Hijacked by Dani’s Wardrobe Emergency

Martin and Nicole finally sit down for their first therapy session, and things actually start off promising. Nicole drops some serious truth about how love can make people do all the wrong things for the right reasons, and Martin admits all he wants is to go home to Smitty. Baby steps, Nicole says. Slow and steady.

But just when progress is within reach, Dani shows up unannounced with a stack of concert outfits like it’s a fashion emergency. Nicole had completely forgotten about the show and isn't exactly thrilled to be guilted into going. Martin doesn’t commit either, but let’s be real... if Dani keeps pushing, neither of them is staying home.

Naomi Confesses and Dani’s Jaw Hits the Floor

Meanwhile, Naomi drops by to give Dani some fashion feedback and instead ends up unloading the truth about Bill’s potential connection to a murder. Dani’s stunned. Murder? In this family? Okay, yes. Of course. Naomi spills everything, from the guilt over lying to Jacob to the fallout in her own marriage. Dani listens with wide eyes and cracked composure before finally groaning that if Naomi and Jacob can’t make it, nobody can. Facts.

Samantha’s Got the Blues and Vernon Makes a Move

At the design studio, Samantha is not in the mood to film content with Kat. All she can think about is Martin and Smitty’s imploding marriage. Naomi steps in to offer some comfort, but Samantha has had enough of this Dupree love curse. Even Kat gets a reality check when she realizes she’s been too wrapped up in Tomas to notice her niece struggling.

Back at Martin and Smitty’s, Tyrell tries to convince Smitty to show up for Anita. He even throws down some reverse psychology, telling him he’s not acting like the man they all look up to. Ouch, kid. Just when the guilt trip starts to land, Vernon strolls in for a surprise visit and humbly asks Smitty to come to the concert... not for him, not even for Martin, but for Anita.

Can the Articulettes pull off this reunion with the whole gang present and no fresh drama onstage? Knowing BTG, something’s definitely about to go sideways.
