Nicole’s Past Comes Back to Choke Her
Nicole spends her morning pacing and panicking about the Martin mess, only for Kat to burst in with complaints about Eva. But when Kat overhears Nicole muttering about family secrets, she sticks around for tea time. Their heart-to-heart gets cut short when Jacob shows up to question Nicole about Leslie’s police report. Leslie claims Nicole left her with “grievance, bodily injury and severe emotional trauma” after their brawl at Orphey Gene’s. Nicole coolly admits they scuffled but adds, “If only I had succeeded,” leaving Kat visibly rattled.
Jacob presses her about possible strangulation, but with no security footage, all he’s got are shaky witness statements. For now, no arrest. As soon as Jacob leaves, Kat tries to grill Nicole on the Martin situation, but Nicole waves her off. She’s got bigger fires to put out, starting with Leslie.
Eva and Tomas Turn Up the Heat
At Orphey Gene’s, Eva and Tomas come up for air after that kiss, both wondering if they’ve crossed the line. Tomas assures Eva there’s nothing to regret since he “really liked that kiss.” He also confesses that he and Kat never clicked physically, revealing that their relationship was more awkward than steamy. Eva is floored to learn Kat is still a virgin, especially since Kat always acts like she’s got all the worldly experience.
The two talk for hours, bonding over how easy it feels to be around each other. Tomas admits he’s not getting this connection anywhere else, and Eva quietly agrees. As they leave hand in hand, Tomas jokes about protecting her from big-city crime, though the real danger here might be their growing feelings.
Chelsea Closes the Door on Allison
Chelsea’s attempt to help Allison turns into an emotional rollercoaster. She urges Allison to get out of her toxic relationship with Craig, only to have Allison twist her words into romantic validation. Madison overhears, her jealousy practically humming in the hospital air. When Chelsea tries to involve Bill for legal advice, Allison lashes out, accusing Chelsea of airing her personal business.
Later, Allison apologizes, but Chelsea lays it all out. She urges Allison to seek help yet draws a hard boundary, saying she can’t stay in Allison’s orbit anymore. Chelsea leaves, clearly shaken, while Madison hopes her girlfriend finally sees Allison for what she is.
Nicole Calls Leslie’s Bluff
Nicole storms into Leslie’s apartment demanding to see the so-called bruises. Leslie dramatically reveals her neck, but Nicole instantly recognizes the marks as nothing more than purple eyeshadow. Leslie smugly claims the police will never catch on, but Nicole isn’t impressed. “Your plan is doomed to be a failure, just like you,” she warns before leaving. Leslie taunts that she’s looking forward to their next round, but Nicole promises that next time Leslie won’t need makeup to play the victim.
