Nicole Learns the Truth and Puts Bill on Notice
Nicole finally gets the unvarnished truth from Martin about Kenny’s death, and the culprit is none other than family fixer Bill Hamilton. Martin swears he had no part in the hit, but Nicole is furious that yet another secret was kept from her. She reminds her brother that no one fights harder for him, then insists he start seeing her professionally as his therapist. (Healthy boundaries? Not even on the menu.)
Nicole doesn’t stay simmering for long. She storms into Bill’s home, calling him a murderer before demanding he stay away from Martin and the rest of the Duprees. Bill spins his usual speech about cleaning up their messes, but Nicole isn’t moved. With a slow clap that could cut glass, she declares herself the real fixer now.
Naomi’s World Gets Rocked
Date night with Jacob gets derailed when talk turns to the Dupree family’s never-ending trail of secrets. Naomi runs straight to Vernon and Anita, demanding answers, only to learn the horrifying truth about Bill’s role in Kenny’s death. She’s sworn in as their legal counsel to keep Jacob in the dark, but the information hits her like a freight train. Naomi warns her grandparents that Jacob is already piecing things together and the cover-up is hanging by a thread.
Kat Finds Eva and Tomas Together
Kat’s worst fears come to life when her tracking efforts lead her straight to Eva’s hotel room, where her half-sister and Tomas are in full flirt-and-kiss mode. Eva tries to convince herself that she’s not “that girl,” but her guilt is written all over her face. When Kat knocks on the door, Tomas barely manages to get dressed before she barges in. His flimsy excuse about picking up a book fools no one. Kat storms out, Eva is left spiraling, and Tomas seems just as confused.
Martin Feels the Heat
While Jacob keeps digging for answers about the Dupree family, Martin fends off his questions with political non-answers. Kat interrupts their chat, ready to vent about her messy love life, reminding Martin that he’s proof good men still exist. The comment lands like a gut punch, knowing Kat is the only family member still in the dark about the deadly secret haunting him.
