Cane’s Big Plans and Phyllis Wants In
Cane isn’t done dropping surprises, and Amanda sees right through him. She suspects there are more secrets tucked away behind that smug smile of his. And let’s be honest, she’s not wrong. While he pretends to be all heart-eyed over Lily, he’s also busy entertaining Phyllis and her not-so-subtle pitch to partner up. She wants in on whatever power play he’s got brewing, assuming it’s all about snatching Chancellor. Amanda tries to keep it legal, but Phyllis is already greasing the social wheels. When she offers Cane her “killer instinct,” he does not exactly slam the door. But Cane’s got another game in mind and it might not include either of these ambitious ladies.
Lily’s Not Sleeping, But She’s Not Falling Either
Lily can’t sleep, and you do not need a crystal ball to know Cane is the reason. She wanders into the train's common area where Damian is posted up with wine and some charm. He’s sweet, but Lily’s distracted. She’s made up her mind — she’s going home in the morning. She even tells Damian that Cane is becoming more like his scheming dad, Collin. Still, they end up bonding over cards, and let’s just say Damian is not great at poker. Lily schools him hand after hand, until he confesses he may have let her win. But that sunrise stroll? She’s not biting. She wants out of this game entirely. Let Cane sip wine with his delusions while she heads back to reality.

Adam Smells Trouble, and It Reeks of Dumas
Meanwhile, over in the real world, Adam is practically glued to his phone and losing his mind over radio silence from Victor. He and Chelsea are out at Society, but he’s not really present. Something big is going down, and he knows it has Dumas’ fingerprints all over it. Arabesque is buying up prime real estate all over Genoa City — commercial buildings and condos circling Newman and Jabot like a wolf pack. Chelsea jokes that it’s starting to sound like an Agatha Christie mystery, but Adam’s not laughing. He thinks this is a strategic siege, and Victor’s playing catch-up for once. That’s not a position anyone’s used to seeing him in.
Phyllis Shoots Her Shot, and Amanda Shoots Her Down
Phyllis waltzes in like she owns the place, sliding up to Cane with drinks and a proposal wrapped in sass and ambition. She’s ready to be his secret weapon, assuming his goal is Chancellor. She throws Billy under the bus without hesitation and pitches herself as the bold, fearless woman who can help him navigate Genoa City’s corporate minefield. Amanda is not impressed and calls her out. Phyllis insists it’s all hypothetical, but Amanda is not buying it. After Cane exits, Amanda lets loose with a fiery “what the hell is wrong with you?” and demands to know if Phyllis ever considers anyone but herself. Classic Phyllis, always hustling and never pausing to check the damage in her wake.
