Taylor Proposes and Ridge Says Yes While Nick Can’t Stop Eavesdropping

At Il Giardino, Taylor wastes no time turning her dinner date with Ridge into a full-on proposal. She doesn’t ease into it either. One minute she’s reminiscing about how magical they are together, and the next she’s busting out a ring like it’s ladies' night at Tiffany’s. Ridge plays coy, acting like he didn’t just move into her house last week, but she’s not backing down. Taylor swears this isn’t an ambush, even though she’s fully got an engagement ring in her hand and is demanding he put it on her finger.

Ridge finally drops the act and gets sentimental, saying she makes him better and that she should have had that ring a long time ago. He says he’s in love with her and wants to be her husband, then slides the ring on her finger like he’s been waiting for this moment forever. All the while, Nick Marone is a few feet away, doing the most with his facial expressions like a rejected extra in a soap opera parody. But in a good way.

Brooke Refuses to Accept Reality While Katie Brings the Hard Truth

Back at Forrester, Brooke is fuming to Katie, convinced Ridge is about to ruin his life by marrying someone who isn’t her. She still thinks Taylor is just a rebound and that what Ridge and Taylor have is basically smoke and mirrors. Katie tries to ground her in reality, reminding her that Ridge is a grown man who doesn’t make commitments lightly. Brooke pretends to listen but makes it very clear she still thinks Ridge belongs to her.

Katie points out that if Brooke truly believed Ridge wasn’t going to marry Taylor, she wouldn’t be pacing around like a nervous wreck. Brooke insists she’s just worried about Ridge doing something impulsive. Katie reminds her that Ridge is already living with Taylor and clearly committed. Brooke, however, clings to the belief that Ridge will come back to her because, of course, she does. This woman will go to her grave convinced she’s the main character in Ridge’s love life.

Will Goes Undercover While Luna Loads a Gun and Smolders

Over at Luna’s apartment, she’s already pre-celebrating her supposed reunion with Will, bragging to Grandma Sheila about how boring Electra was and how she and Will are meant to be. Sheila side-eyes the whole thing and gives her a very dramatic be careful warning before bouncing. Luna, naturally, ignores it. She’s too busy fluffing her hair and fantasizing about seducing a man she doesn’t know is literally wearing a wire.

At the cliff house, Steffy, Baker, and Electra are nervously watching as Will prepares to play James Bond. He gets wired up, given a lipstick cam, and sent off to Luna’s place to catch her in the act. Electra’s clearly not okay with this plan, but Will assures her he can handle it. Famous last words.

Luna greets Will like she’s about to audition for a music video. She hides her gun in the drawer, turns on the charm, and starts playing seductive mind games. Will plants the camera while pretending to be completely mesmerized by her. When she calls Electra a brick with legs, he says he’s not there to talk about his ex. He’s there for Luna, who’s sexy and dangerous and exactly the kind of chaos he apparently wants in his life.

The Act Gets Real When Luna Starts to Question the Game

As the show starts for the crew at the cliff house, things heat up fast. Luna questions Will’s sudden change of heart, asking why he went from hating her to wanting her all over again. Will leans in with smooth lines and says he wants her, understands her trauma, and knows all about her tragic past. Luna is confused but too flattered to back off. She keeps throwing herself at him and eventually dares him to prove just how badly he wants her.

While the people watching from afar start sweating bullets, Luna wraps her arms around Will and says she’s his. But Will’s not just playing with fire. He’s trying to trap it and bring it home as evidence. And judging by the way Luna’s talking, she’s about to say something that could send her right back into handcuffs.
