General Hospital Recap - Thursday, June 12, 2025 | Michael Gets the Kids, Cody Turns Up the Charm as Kristina’s Scheme Hits High Gear

On Thursday's General Hospital, Michael walked away with full custody and a stunned expression, Willow spiraled into a full-on breakdown, and Kristina cooked up a scheme that even Alexis couldn’t believe—complete with Cody playing seducer to Ava Jerome.

Willow Loses Everything—And Her Grip

Let’s get straight to the courtroom fireworks: the judge absolutely torched Willow’s parenting track record. After rattling off a laundry list of chaos that’s followed those poor kids from one house to the next, the judge didn’t hesitate. Michael, now fully recovered and apparently Father of the Year, got full custody. Yes, FULL. Nina gasped, everyone gawked, and Willow? Oh, she unraveled.

She screamed, sobbed, and threw herself at Michael. Then she collapsed into Drew’s arms on the way out. By the time she hit the hospital, she was practically catatonic. Liz got her settled, and a psych consult was called. Because yes, it was that bad. Nina took her fury straight to Drew, blaming him for everything. And let’s be honest—she’s not totally wrong.

Meanwhile, Michael tried to celebrate this win that didn’t feel like a win at all. Laura checked in, Jason poured drinks, and everyone quietly agreed that while the kids might be okay, Willow? Not so much.

Kristina’s Messy Plot Gets Messier

While Willow’s life fell apart, Kristina was scheming. She marched into Alexis’ office and dropped a bomb: she’s recruited Cody to seduce Ava. Why? Because she thinks if Ava's distracted, Ric will boomerang back into Kristina’s trap. Or something like that.

Alexis was floored. “Did you hire a gigolo?” she asked. Not quite—but honestly, Cody might be cheaper if he were a professional. He wants hazard pay. Like, a lot of it. Because seducing a woman with Ava’s killer instincts? That’s no light-duty assignment. But Kristina’s all in, and she’s not interested in Alexis’ lecture about impulsive schemes. She wants results, not parenting.

Cody Turns On the Charm at the Gallery

Cody, meanwhile, made his move. He popped up at Ava’s gallery, returning a pair of sunglasses with the smoothest line he could muster. Ava was suspicious, of course—she didn’t even give him her name. But Cody played it off, saying her reputation did all the work. Cute save.

He leaned into the art talk (badly), and Ava patiently walked him through the basics. He admitted he connects more with a horse at sunrise than a painting, which honestly charmed her. By the end of their chat, Ava was inviting him to a photography exhibit. Ava Jerome doesn’t do soft and fuzzy, so the fact that Cody got even a sliver of a smile? Score one for Kristina’s messy master plan.

Sonny’s Legal Nightmare Just Got Real

Natalia pulled Sonny into her car with an update that could blow his world to pieces. She got slapped with another DUI, and to avoid jail time, she’s being pressured to help the ADA take Sonny down. And—plot twist—she actually does have something on him. Turns out, Deception’s financials tie back to Sonny’s money, and the discrepancies are enough to justify a search warrant.

Sonny, ever the calm criminal, told her to keep her cool while he figures it out. They’ve been here before, and he swears he’ll fix it. But let’s be clear: Natalia’s looking at five years, and Sonny’s looking at a case he may not be able to spin.

Laura Plays Mediator—Again

In the middle of everyone else’s mess, Laura made the rounds. She comforted Liz about Lucky, reminding her that no, she’s not to blame for his wanderlust. Then she asked Alexis to weigh in on whether Liz should sue over her car accident—Martin’s desperate, Liz is conflicted, and Laura is stuck in the middle.

At least someone in Port Charles is still trying to solve problems with logic instead of seduction and sabotage.

Final Scene Shenanigans

Ava left Ric a cryptic voicemail, clearly still entangled in his drama. Ric opened up to Liz about how deeply Willow’s situation hit him, and Liz showed support the old-fashioned way—with a hand on his. Meanwhile, Drew tried to storm Willow’s hospital room, but Nina cut him off with a verbal smackdown. If he really loves her, he’ll leave her the hell alone.

Cody and Kristina toasted to round one going well, and she handed over a thousand-dollar check like it was pocket change. Cody asked just how far she wants this to go—and Kristina made it clear: all the way. Whatever it takes to get Ava to dump Ric.
