Rachel’s Secret Could Blow Salem Wide Open
Just when Marlena thought it was going to be a chill day playing grandma-of-the-year, Rachel opened her mouth and dropped a truth bomb that could shake the entire DiMera mansion. Turns out her spooky little nightmare wasn’t just dream nonsense. She straight-up remembered yelling “Don’t shoot him!” and then confessed to Marlena that Johnny was the one who shot EJ. And before Marlena could even grab her phone and warn Brady, he was whisked away. So now Marlena’s walking around with this nuclear-level secret while Rachel skips off to the wedding like she didn’t just change the entire game.

Paul Gets Hitched While Worrying About the Future
Paul and Andrew’s big day was finally here, and Salem showed up looking fabulous. But while Andrew was glowing, Paul was doing that nervous groom thing. Between the long-distance relationship and Andrew’s job with the ISA, Paul was clearly having second thoughts. Thankfully, Andrew had the perfect remedy with some heartfelt reassurances and a wedding gift directly from Marlena. She passed along John’s old wristwatch, and that got the waterworks going.
The ceremony itself was full of sweet touches, including nods to Paul’s Japanese roots. Eric officiated his first same-sex wedding and kept it classy, even if the newlyweds awkwardly went for a hug instead of the traditional kiss. Brady tried to steal the spotlight with a toast about how Paul outshined him in every way, while Shane beamed like the proudest dad in the room. Even Marlena got a moment to soak in the joy, reminding everyone that John was absolutely watching from above. Cue the rainbow.

Tate Is Growing Up Fast and Feeling the Pressure
While everyone else was busy with cake and vows, Tate was in the square having a heart-to-heart with Shane. After Sophia’s false labor scare, he’s still determined to go through with the adoption, but the weight of the decision is clearly setting in. Shane brings up his own daughter Eve and all the trauma she carried from feeling abandoned. That hits a nerve. Tate may be young, but he’s seriously thinking about the long-term emotional impact on this child. Salem could use more grown-ups like him because half the adults in this town are running around with secrets and revenge plots.
Family Drama, Flirty Vibes, and Wedding Day Absences
Elsewhere, Carrie’s sipping coffee and stressing about Belle, who’s all in with EJ regardless of what the family thinks. Belle’s doing what Belle does best by following her heart and ignoring every red flag in sight. Will popped by to say Sonny couldn’t make the wedding, and Roman missed it thanks to a gas leak that turned out to be nothing but a false alarm. Carrie’s already packing her bags but plans to swing by the Pub for a goodbye.
And of course, Shane used the moment to casually suggest Paul join the ISA so he and Andrew could live happily ever after in Washington. Because nothing says romantic honeymoon planning quite like signing up for spy missions.
