Not having it. “Looking back has its hazards,” she says, and that’s the understatement of the decade. After brushing off Naomi’s lunch invite with a dramatically poetic “I need to sit in this sadness,” Anita pulls out a letter she clearly wishes she could forget—but has memorized every single word of.

Turns out the Articulettes had a fourth member, one Anita allegedly ousted like a villain in a behind-the-music special. This mystery woman claims Dante told her she wasn’t “classy” enough and that Anita stole the spotlight—and the group—from her. The final punch? A posthumous mic drop of a line: “And that is on you.” Anita ends the episode sobbing into her hands, and suddenly, that sad little concert poster feels like a slap in the face.

Hayley’s Pregnancy Bombshell Doesn’t Land the Way She Hoped

Hayley barges into Dani’s house with the confidence of a woman holding a golden ticket. Too bad Dani's seen this soap opera before. Hayley flashes her positive pregnancy test like it’s the final word, but Dani claps back, accusing her of pulling a Lifetime-level con. “You going to get one of those prosthetic bellies?” she sneers. Ouch.

When Dani asks her to take another test on the spot, Hayley flat-out refuses, turning their confrontation into a full-blown stalemate. Bill’s Health Takes a Turn, and No One’s Laughing Now

Bill might be orchestrating family espionage like a Bond villain—sending Tomas to dig dirt on every Dupree in a 10-mile radius—but it’s clear the man’s falling apart behind his smug facade. Naomi shows up at the office, already throwing shade at Hayley’s pregnancy by calling the baby “insurance.” Hayley, ever the optimist, says it could bring them all closer. Naomi rolls her eyes so hard, it’s a miracle she doesn’t sprain something.

But the moment things get serious is when Bill starts slurring his words. Suddenly, Naomi and Hayley go full united front. He tries to downplay it, of course—classic Bill—but when they realize he’s been hiding his shaky hands too, the truth hits like a freight train. Bill’s in real trouble, and no snarky comeback is going to save him now.

Leslie Struts, Threatens, and Gets Herself Bounced

While everyone else is spiraling, Leslie’s out here stirring every pot she can find. She shows up at Orphey Gene’s, breathing fire and legal threats at Kat. Apparently, being sued for defamation is Leslie’s idea of a brunch special. Her final warning? “You’d best keep your eyes wide open.” Spoken like someone who definitely practices her villain monologues in the mirror.

Later, she crashes Ashley and Derek’s lunch date like the drama bomb she is, only to be served a brutal takedown. Ashley calls her out for trying to kill Laura—not once, but twice—and informs her the hospital now has rules to keep her out. Derek backs up his girl, and together they kick Leslie to the curb. She may be used to getting the last word, but today was not her day.

Dani and Andre Can’t Let Go… Even When They Try

Andre makes a surprise visit to Dani’s after reminiscing about Derek and Ashley’s lovefest. But instead of romance, he gets Dani spiraling about Hayley’s baby and waxing poetic about her ex-husband Bill. Andre, to his credit, tries to hold it together—but when Dani’s clearly stuck in the past, he finally calls her out. “Maybe you should pay attention to what’s in front of you,” he says, meaning himself, obviously.

Still, he’s not ready to walk away. Even if Dani’s heart is somewhere else, Andre wants to stick around for the moment. Dani calls it like it is: “We’re a sad pair—friends with benefits whose hearts are partially owned by someone else.” And just like that, the will-they-won’t-they carousel keeps spinning.
