Kat Drops the “First Time” Bomb at Dinner
Kat clearly didn’t come to the country club to play nice. First, she told Daddy Dearest that hiring Eva was a terrible idea, calling her and Leslie the evil doppelgängers of herself and her mom. Ted tried to give his signature peace speech, gassing both daughters up with compliments before Kat bolted to have dinner with Tomas — and oh, she made sure Eva knew exactly who she was going to see.
Kat played the doting girlfriend perfectly, even having the chef whip up one of Tomas’ favorite meals from Spain. But the moment Eva dared to pop by their table for some light book talk, Kat’s claws came out. After Eva finally left, Kat pulled a romantic power move and told Tomas she was ready to take things to the next level. As in, she wants her first time to be tonight. Tomas was smiling, but was anyone else wondering if she was really ready or just trying to stake her claim? Hmm.
Bill’s Apology Tour Stops at Dani’s Door
While Hayley was cluelessly swinging by the law firm to collect her husband, Bill was busy getting cozy with scotch and closure at Dani’s place. That’s right — cane in one hand, guilt in the other, Bill decided to finally own up to the pain he caused. He admitted Dani always understood him better than anyone, and seeing her again in the hospital helped him feel human after months of misery. But before anyone gets excited, he quickly made it clear he’s not leaving Hayley.
Still, the man confessed he was a coward, blamed Dani unfairly, and let her think she was the reason their marriage collapsed. Dani, with the perfect mix of grace and bite, reminded him that she felt the storm coming — she just didn’t know it would be named Hayley. It was a raw, powerful moment that’s been a long time coming on BTG.
Hayley vs. Dani: The Queen Bee Showdown Continues
Right on cue, Hayley showed up next, dripping with smugness and ready to reclaim her territory. She dismissed Bill’s visit as harmless nostalgia, but Dani was not having it. Her cutting little proverb about every man eventually tiring of the hottest woman in the world hit Hayley right where it hurts. Then came the belly clutch — Hayley suddenly doubled over in pain mid-argument, leading Dani to sarcastically ask if she’d harmed the imaginary fetus. Savage. These two may never bury the hatchet, unless it’s in each other’s backs.

Martin’s Past Gets Messier by the Minute
Smitty is still digging into Marcel’s dirty money mystery, and what he’s finding is more scandalous than anything he ever expected. He drops a bomb on Jacob about a shady $500,000 transfer and a bizarre memory: Martin once came home from a political event with Vernon wearing different clothes and a seriously foggy explanation about a flat tire. Smitty’s spidey sense is tingling, and now he thinks Martin might have witnessed a crime and been silenced with hush money. Jacob’s alarm bells go off, and the two meet up to swap info. Whatever Marcel’s hiding, Smitty’s determined to bring it to light — no matter who gets burned in the process.
The Secret Squad Assembles for Damage Control
Over in Bill’s office, a secret boys’ club meeting kicked off with Vernon, Chief Hawthorne, Marcel and Joey, all trying to get a grip on this Martin situation. They’re scrambling to bury the truth before Smitty’s article blows everything sky-high. Ted storms in with righteous fury, offended he wasn’t looped in sooner. Once Bill arrives, the gang really gets down to business. Joey drops a heist-movie reference that honestly feels a little too accurate. They know mistakes will happen, but they’re banking on unity to stay clean.
Martin finally joins them, floored to learn Ted has been in on the cover-up. He insists on taking full responsibility, triggering yet another creepy flashback when Marcel agrees with him. Ted rushes Martin out before he spirals further, but it’s clear the truth is creeping closer — and if this BTG recap proves anything, it’s that secrets never stay buried for long.
