Secrets, Betrayal & an Unbothered Chelsea

Oh honey, grab an iced latte or a cocktail because Genoa City did not come to play. If you thought Chelsea’s big career pivot would be a quiet affair, think again. While Summer's off twirling pasta in Italy, the rest of the Marchetti crew is left clutching their pearls—especially Chloe, who stomps into Society hotter than Victor’s temper when someone breathes wrong around his family.

Chloe | Y&R

Chelsea, the queen of "my bad," swears she meant to tell Chloe she was quitting, but life just got away from her. Sure, girl. Chloe’s not buying the “I love you” hugs when she walked into work and discovered both her besties had ghosted her. Oh, and surprise! Summer’s soaking up the Italian sun while Chloe’s left unraveling the mess in stilettos.

Victor Declares War (Yet Again)

Let’s talk about Victor “Everything Is My Business” Newman. Kyle’s nervous because he knows Victor’s about to go full nuclear when he finds out Claire’s shacking up with an Abbott. And yep—Victor doesn’t disappoint. As Claire lovingly explains their plan to move into Adam’s old place, Grandpa Victor nearly implodes. He compares Kyle to Jordan (yes, that Jordan), declares him an enemy, and insists Claire’s falling into the arms of destruction.

Nikki tries to calm the storm, but Victor's already mapping out counterattacks like he’s on a chessboard with people’s lives. Claire, bless her heart, stands firm. She loves Kyle. She’s moving in. And not even Victor with his legendary glare is going to stop her. Nikki, ever the voice of reason, encourages Claire to hit pause—not for Victor, but so he can catch up to reality.

Kyle Gets a Front-Row Seat to Victor's Wrath

Kyle isn’t exactly thriving either. Jack’s busy playing the “trust your love” card while Kyle spirals over how far Victor might go to keep them apart. Jack reminds him that Claire’s standing her ground with the fiercest man in Genoa City for him—and that should say everything. Too bad Victor crashes the father-son pep talk with all the subtlety of a wrecking ball.

He storms into Jabot to inform Kyle that not only is he banned from moving in with Claire, but he also won’t be buying Adam’s apartment. Kyle pushes back, asking the obvious: “Or what?” But Victor leaves that hanging like a threat wrapped in Armani.

Claire's Got a Plan & Chelsea Feels the Heat

Claire reports the latest family drama to Nikki, who—surprise!—agrees with Diane on something for once. Both think Claire needs to rework her game plan because Victor doesn’t fold easily. Try warming his heart? Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, Adam’s at Newman Media muttering about secrets and staring into the void. Victor shows up, fresh from his Kyle takedown, to tell Adam that selling his apartment to Kyle and Claire is off the table. “Without talking to me first?” he scoffs. Oh please, it’s not like Adam ever makes a move without Daddy’s approval… except this one time. And now he’s paying for it.

Back in the park, Claire and Kyle share a hug and a pity party. Claire’s crushed by her grandfather’s disappointment, while Kyle’s still reeling from Victor’s attempt to sabotage their relationship. But don’t worry—they’re still all in, and ready to face Victor together.

Chloe Calls It Like It Is

Back at Society, Chloe’s not done handing out truths like complimentary breadsticks. She gets why Chelsea wants to help people—hello, post-ledge epiphany—but wonders how much leash the Newmans will actually give her. Chelsea’s trying to ignore the puppet strings and believe Adam won’t cave to Victor. Chloe? Not convinced. This is Victor Newman we’re talking about. He runs everything—people, companies, and apparently, real estate deals.

Chelsea’s living her “new purpose” truth, but at what cost? No Chloe. No Summer. No warning. It’s giving betrayal, and Chloe’s not shy about saying it.

Next Week on Y&R: Emotional Wreckage & Power Plays Continue

Nect week, Victor corners Phyllis with a shady proposition—she’s got info, and he wants it, but she’s playing hardball. Meanwhile, Tessa and Mariah are falling apart in the park. Tears, regrets, and maybe some counseling ahead. Oh, and Claire? She’s not done stirring things up. There’s a party on the horizon, and you just know it’s going to be a spectacle.

And there you have it—The Young and the Restless full episode recap you didn’t know you needed. See you next week when someone else catches Victor’s wrath and Claire keeps daring to live her life.
