Y&R Recap | Phyllis Pushes for a Comeback While Amanda Blocks Her Billionaire Power Play - Monday, May 19, 2025 [SPOILERS]

In Monday's full episode recap of The Young and the Restless, business dreams crash, alliances shift, and everyone’s got secrets—but who's playing who? From Sally’s style-packed plans to Phyllis chasing a billionaire, and Amanda stirring up tension everywhere she goes, this Y&R recap is bringing the heat.

Amanda & Phyllis discuss Dumas | Y&R, CBS SONY

Sally Has Big Launch Party Energy — and Billy’s Distracted

Sally struts into the club dining room ready to talk business, but Billy? He’s too busy scrolling like a teenager. Still, Sally’s throwing out bold Hollywood-themed ideas for the Abbott Communications launch party—think fedoras and femme fatales in pencil skirts. Billy finally tunes in and calls it brilliant. They’re so aligned, they ditch breakfast and head up to her suite. Priorities.

Phyllis Wants a Future... and a Fortune

Over at Society, Phyllis is pouring her heart out to Amanda, begging for help with Aristotle Dumas. Amanda, however, is all lawyered-up and not having it. Phyllis just wants a few coins (okay, a major investment) from a man who’s already said no—twice. She insists she has a media empire plan; Amanda claps back that she doesn’t even know what kind of business she’s pitching. Ouch.

Winters Family Drama Comes With a Side of Suspicion

While Phyllis is plotting her next move, Devon, Nate, and Lily get interrupted by Damian and his mother, Amy. Big hugs, sweet moments—and a job offer? Yep. Lily wants Damian to oversee the Winters hotel empire. Nate’s on board. Devon? Not so much. He’s raising an eyebrow at how fast this is all happening. And the fact that Amanda, who now represents Dumas, just parachuted back into their lives doesn’t help.

Billy’s Guilt Is Showing, and Sally Notices

Billy’s been haunted by the ghost of Phyllis-fired-past. Sally can see right through him: he does feel guilty about letting Red go. But he insists it was a leave of absence and promises Sally that her future is solid with him. Meanwhile, she’s wondering if blowing up her career for this man was worth it. (Girl…)

Dumas Drama: Phyllis Just Won’t Quit

Phyllis won’t let this Dumas thing go. She’s convinced he must be interested in Chancellor—after all, why is he talking to Billy about Abbott Communications if he’s done with media? Amanda tells her to move on, but Phyllis is ready to fight for those deep pockets. She’s got inside info and refuses to take no for an answer. Persistence or delusion? You decide.

Family, Forgiveness, and a Whole Lot of Mess

Damian’s mom has a burial plot and wants to spend her remaining time with him. Sweet, right? Except Devon is still unsure about this insta-family vibe. Lily thinks they’ll all get there. Damian’s ready to prove himself. And Nate’s doing some silent staircase lurking like he’s in a soap noir.

Amanda and Billy: Old Wounds and New Questions

Amanda bumps into Billy and reminds him exactly who she is: the woman who once helped Tara Locke run Summer out of town. Sally’s not thrilled by this intro. Later, Amanda hints she might be able to get Billy that elusive Dumas meeting. But Billy’s not buying her nice-girl act. He and Sally both think Amanda is hiding something. Spoiler: she totally is.

Mama Drama: Jill Is Still on Billy’s Mind

Amanda tells Billy that Jill is in emotional agony over their estranged relationship. She wants him to make peace. Billy, naturally, doesn’t want to talk about it. He flips the convo to Dumas, wondering why his office keeps dodging meetings. Amanda’s lips are sealed, but something smells shady.

Lonely Nights and Late Calls

Phyllis ends her night on a lonely note. She dials up Summer, who’s out celebrating with her latest hire. Instead of calling Daniel, Phyllis messages Nick to thank him for being in her corner. That offer of his? She just might take him up on it.

Lily’s Heart vs. Devon’s Doubt

Damian’s ready to risk it all—job, home, everything—to join the Winters family business. Lily says she trusts him, even though Devon clearly doesn’t. They all smile and hug and pretend this isn’t a powder keg waiting to blow. Nate watches from the shadows like a man who’s seen this soap before.

Final Thought: Secrets, Suspicion, and So. Much. Sass.

This full episode recap of The Young and the Restless was bursting with big moves and even bigger egos. Everyone wants something—money, forgiveness, power—but trust is in short supply. Amanda’s playing lawyer and puppet master, Phyllis is chasing a billionaire fantasy, and Sally’s trying to look glam while holding the Abbott empire together. Genoa City? More like Drama City. Stay tuned.
