Y&R Recap - Monday, May 26, 2025 | Audra and Kyle Play With Fire While Phyllis Unleashes Fury

On Monday's The Young and the Restless, sparks flew across Genoa City as Audra dangled a devilish deal in front of Kyle, Claire found herself under unexpected scrutiny, and Phyllis lit up like a Roman candle in broad daylight.

Audra’s Perfume Pitch Has Kyle Sniffing Trouble

Audra Charles was in full temptress mode, swirling her drink and scheming up a storm when Kyle walked into the jazz lounge. She dropped a bombshell of a business pitch that sounded more like a plotline from a reality show feud. Her idea? A "perfume war" between Vibrante and Jabot with influencers fanning the flames and fake leaks planted to stir up drama. Kyle looked interested—but not stupid. He clocked that this whole thing screams "benefits Audra" and barely does a thing for Jabot.

And let’s not pretend Audra wasn’t using a little charm to get her way. She even brought up his infamous sunscreen ad wardrobe malfunction to jog his memory—because nothing says team spirit like public embarrassment. Kyle agreed to think it over, but you could tell he wasn’t buying the snake oil just yet. As for Audra, she's working hard to pull one over on Kyle to get more funds from Victor.

Claire Stays Classy While Holden Digs for Dirt

Upstairs, Claire was trying to enjoy a drink when Holden swooped in like he was auditioning for “Most Invasive Man of the Year.” He grilled her about Kyle’s connection to Audra and seemed a little too interested in her Newman heritage. She handled it like a pro—cool, composed, but definitely not fooled. The moment Kyle returned, she let him know Holden was full of questions and low on subtlety.

Kyle gave her the rundown on Audra’s little plan, and while Claire didn’t exactly cheerlead the idea, she saw through the perfume promo. This wasn’t about Jabot—this was about Kyle, and maybe Audra wanting another taste of what she lost. Claire made it clear she’s watching. Closely.

Phyllis Comes in Hot and Leaves Scorched Earth Behind

Elsewhere, Phyllis was out to reclaim her crown—and possibly take down half of Genoa City to do it. She ambushed Amanda with a wild pitch to get in good with the elusive Dumas and maybe run Chancellor while they’re at it. Amanda gave her a firm "thanks, but absolutely not," which only made Phyllis dig in deeper. She claims this is all for Daniel, but let’s be honest—this is about Phyllis proving she’s still a boss, and no one's going to stop her.

Later, she ran smack into Sally and Billy, and let’s just say civility did not make an appearance. Phyllis threw shade like it was confetti, accusing Sally of betrayal and suggesting she got where she is by horizontal networking. Sally was not here for it, clapping back with some sting of her own. Billy tried to mediate, but Phyllis left in a blaze of threats and promises to blow the town away. Subtlety? Never heard of it.

Sally’s Keeping Her Enemies Closer

While Phyllis was busy ranting, Sally was focused on staying one step ahead. She’s still rattled by Phyllis’s vague but venomous threats and knows that woman is capable of anything. She’s grateful for Billy’s support, but Sally made it very clear: she’s not afraid to throw down if Phyllis crosses a line. Between launching a new business and keeping her eye on Phyllis, Sally’s plate is full—but she’s not backing down.
