Claire | Y&R, CBS SONY |
Phyllis Is Fabulous... and Falling Apart
Phyllis is serving confidence with a side of chaos. While Nick tries to have a normal morning at the club, Phyllis is busy throwing shade about Summer’s new boy toy and proclaiming how fabulous she looks (she’s not wrong, but still). She’s definitely not over the whole Billy drama and admits she and Daniel are aimless without something juicy to work on. But don’t worry—she’s chasing down the elusive Aristotle Dumas for funding like it’s Shark Tank: Genoa City Edition. Nick’s not buying the confident act and tries to offer support (and cash), but Phyllis won’t take his money. She’s messy, but she’s got pride.
Claire Puts the Brakes On
Over at the ranch, Claire announces that moving in with Kyle is a no-go—for now. Grandpa Victor is totally against it (shocker), and Grandma Nikki suggested they slow their roll. Victoria, ever the rebel, is annoyed her dad still puppeteers the entire family. But Claire’s got a game plan to win over The Mustache: a good ol’ fashioned family party. Because nothing says “respect my decisions” like wine, hors d'oeuvres, and subtle manipulation.
Kyle vs. Audra: The Battle of Bold Egos
Meanwhile, Kyle and Audra are having a professional tête-à-tête that is so flirty it might combust. Audra’s out here claiming she’s got the next big product—Vibrante, which Kyle thinks is pure fantasy. Kyle throws his own shade, suggesting her startup won’t make waves for years. Audra claps back with “watch your back” energy and promises something explosive. Honestly? This business beef has more sexual tension than a romance novel, and they both know it.
Diane Drops a Retro Bomb
At Jabot, Diane waltzes in with a vintage surprise: she wants to revive a 1950s-inspired lipstick-compact combo. Kyle’s intrigued but distracted by Audra’s vaporware business. Jack connects the dots—of course Victor’s funding Audra. If that man isn’t stirring the pot, is it even a day in Genoa City?
Holden Wants a Replay, Audra Says Hard Pass
Holden pops back up like a bad ex in a rom-com and corners Audra about her sizzling convo with Kyle. He claims her vibe with Kyle reminds him of them, and Audra practically eye-rolls herself into another dimension. She’s with Nate now, she reminds him—solid, stable Nate. But Holden’s not buying it and basically dares her to prove she’s over him. Boy, bye.
Nick to the Rescue (Again)
Phyllis admits to Nick that she’s been spiraling. Between work setbacks and emotional whiplash, she’s lost her groove. So what does Nick do? Whisks her away for fresh air and a pep talk in the park like the supportive ex-boyfriend we all wish we had. Phyllis insists she’s not this weak—but right now, she’s just human. Don’t worry, girl. The bounce-back is coming.
Victor the Shadow King
Jack suspects Victor’s not just bankrolling Audra—he might be planting spies at Jabot. Because, of course. This is Victor we’re talking about. Jack tells Kyle not to let the stress eat him alive, but Kyle is on a mission. He’s determined to get close to Audra—not like that (so he says)—just close enough to dig up dirt on her mystery product. Claire isn’t exactly thrilled about this plan, especially when Kyle gets all “trust me” with those puppy dog eyes. Her forced smile says, “Boy, don’t play me.”
Audra vs. Everybody
Audra is officially done with Holden’s little nostalgia trip and tells him—again—to back off. He accuses her of hiding something. She accuses him of being clingy. Honestly, they’re both right. Audra then makes it crystal clear: friendship? Not enough. Stay away. Holden says she might just get her wish, and she struts off like the boss she thinks she is.
Claire’s Party Gamble
Back at the ranch, Nikki and Vikki are giving Claire’s party plan side-eye. Nikki says it’s worth a try, while Vikki is not-so-secretly convinced it’s going to blow up in their faces. Either way, Claire’s betting big that showing Victor their love will melt his glacier heart. We’ll see.
Kyle’s Walking a Fine Line
Claire drops by Jabot to get Kyle’s final answer on the party plan, and while he agrees to play nice for now, he has a little secret: he’s going undercover with Audra. He insists there’s nothing to worry about, that it’s all strategic. Claire isn’t so sure, and honestly? Neither are we. Kyle, don’t get burned trying to play with fire.
