Y&R Recap | Billy & Jack Get Heated Over Revenge, Lily Makes Damian an Offer - Wednesday, May 7, 2025 [SPOILERS]

In Wednesday’s full episode recap of The Young and the Restless, the claws are out and the alliances are shaky. Billy gets emotional over more than just business, Sally replaces Phyllis, Chelsea questions Adam’s motives and Lily flirts with danger (and Damian). Everyone’s got an agenda, but who’s really in control? Let's dive into this mess.

Billy | Y&R, CBS SONY

Billy’s Big Move: Sally In, Phyllis Out, Drama Guaranteed

Billy saunters into Jack’s office like he’s about to drop the cure for cancer but instead announces that he’s swapped out fiery Phyllis for equally combustible Sally. Jack, clearly exhausted by the family soap opera, wonders aloud if Billy just replaced one chaos queen with another. And if Billy thinks this won’t blow up in his face, then bless his little optimistic heart.

Adam's Vengeful Vision: Chelsea's Not Impressed

Over at Newman Media, Adam’s plotting to obliterate Billy and Abbott Communications like it’s his full-time hobby. Chelsea, always the voice of cautious reason (for now), isn’t thrilled. She’s pushing for peaceful professionalism while Adam’s giddy with the idea of going full gladiator. Her disapproval barely registers as he mocks the idea of Billy doing “good” with his new venture. Adam’s got jokes, but Chelsea warns: if compassion’s off the table, so is she.

Lily & Damian Dance Around Dumas

Meanwhile, Lily and Damian’s breakfast at the club is anything but casual. Damian delivers vague updates on Aristotle Dumas, who’s still playing hard to get. Lily, never one to be underestimated, wants to flip the script and interrogate Dumas face-to-face. Damian, clearly not used to being the least charming guy at the table, warns that Dumas is unreadable and possibly immune to Lily’s persuasive powers. A challenge, or a dare?

Jack vs. Billy: The Renovation Rant Turns Emotional

Back at Jabot, the brothers argue over the metaphorical and literal renovations in their lives. Billy, tearing up like he's cutting onions, confesses that he feels disconnected from their late father—and that Jack's glowing review of Diane’s renovation stung deeper than expected.

Jack | Y&R

Billy gets emotional talking about his father, John Abbott | Y&R

Jack’s thrown by the vulnerability, but Billy wants to know: does Jack really like the changes, or is he just keeping the peace?

Victor’s Whisper Campaign: Chelsea Catches On

Chelsea, bless her instincts, senses that Newman Media’s being turned into a missile launcher for Victor’s personal vendettas. When she tries to confront Adam about it, Victor himself materializes like a boss-level villain.

Victor | Y&R

Chelsea gracefully excuses herself before things get too transparent, leaving father and son to have a very un-diplomatic “diplomatic” discussion. Spoiler: Victor’s gunning for Dumas, and he wants Adam to light the fuse.

Abbott Communications Takes Off, But Jack Isn’t Celebrating

Billy’s all in on launching Abbott Communications and making Sally a star player. Jack, still skeptical, wants Billy to focus on his company instead of Dumas’ mind games. But Billy’s got a bone to pick: why is Victor getting dragged, but Nikki—who’s running Chancellor—is getting a free pass? Seems like Billy’s keeping a scorecard, and nobody’s winning.

Lily’s Trust Test: Damian Faces Off with Loyalty and Lust

Lily wants Damian to quit his job with Dumas to prove he’s not shady. He balks, naturally—who just walks away from a job on a whim?

But she dangles a future at Winters Inc. like a juicy carrot, even offering to find him a better gig with all the perks. Damian, half-flattered and half-suspicious, wonders aloud if this is just another chess move. She doesn’t deny it. When Lily calls him out for clearly wanting her, Damian fires back that she’s interested too. Oh, this boardroom flirtation is getting spicy.

Victor's Not-So-Secret Agenda: Wipe Billy Off the Map

Adam confesses to Chelsea—yes, confesses—that Victor wants to make Billy look like the village idiot while singing Nikki’s praises. Chelsea’s not here for this kind of energy, but Adam promises he’ll “handle” her. Excuse you? Victor’s determined to crush Billy for reasons he doesn’t even bother to fully explain—because when has that ever stopped him?

Final Thoughts: Who’s Playing Who?

Still in Jack's office, Billy accuses Nikki of being just as selfish and calculating as Victor, and he’s not singing Jill’s praises either.

Jack warns his brother to step away from this endless war, but Billy’s digging in like a rebellious teen. “You never backed down from Victor, why should I?” he pouts. Oh Billy, that defiance is cute—until it backfires like every other time.
