The Young and the Restless Recap | Phyllis Pops Off on Billy & Sally - Monday, May 5, 2025 [SPOILERS]

On Monday's episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis decided to reclaim her crown with fire, Nate started connecting some very shady dots, and Damian made a play for redemption—kind of. This full episode recap is dripping with attitude, just the way Y&R fans like it.

Phyllis Throws Flames at Billy & Sally

Let’s start where the real drama lives: Phyllis Summers. Oh, you thought she was going to fade into the background and take her demotion lying down? Please. Phyllis charged into The Athletic Club like it was her personal runway and laid into Billy and Sally like it was a sport. She’s not mad—she’s furious, fashionable, and ready to destroy anyone who forgets what she’s capable of.

Sally might have been playing it cool in her new power heels, but Phyllis made it known that the only thing more dangerous than a woman scorned is a redhead with receipts.

And Billy? He tried to play peacekeeper, but sweetie, you can't reason with a hurricane. Phyllis gave them a verbal undressing that left the room ten degrees colder, and she walked out with her head held higher than your favorite soap opera villain.

Nate Starts Sniffing Around Audra & Victor

Meanwhile, Nate Hastings isn’t sleeping on the job. The man’s senses are sharper than ever, and he’s not buying what Audra is selling. On paper, her alliance with Victor Newman seems like a business power move. But in Genoa City, paper cuts like these bleed out into full-blown betrayals.

Audra tried her best innocent act—smiles, vague answers, a touch of flirtation—but Nate saw right through the performance. He’s putting two and two together, and the math is not in Audra’s favor. Especially not when Victor Newman is lurking in the shadows, pulling strings like the corporate puppet master he is. Nate’s got questions, and you better believe he’s going to dig until he finds answers.

Damian’s Redemption (Or Something Like It)

Then we have Damian, who showed up on a low-stakes apology tour that barely registered as genuine. He met up with Lily, trying to play the part of the reformed man with a troubled past and a bright-eyed future. He said all the right words, sure, but this is Y&R—we don’t do easy forgiveness.

Lily listened, but don’t be fooled—she’s not handing out second chances like flyers. Damian mentioned Aristotle Dumas, and suddenly Lily’s posture stiffened like a boardroom chair. She’s been in this game too long to fall for a half-hearted confession and a latte at Crimson Lights. Damian might be trying to scrub up his reputation, but unless he starts serving truth instead of vague apologies, Lily’s not buying what he’s selling.

Final Thoughts from Genoa City

This wasn’t just a full episode recap. It was a warning shot. Phyllis is back on the offensive. Nate is watching. Damian is walking a tightrope over a truth-shaped canyon. Genoa City isn’t playing nice—and thank goodness for that.
