The Bold and the Beautiful Recap | Liam Asks Hope If She Knows He's Dying - Tuesday, May 13, 2025 [SPOILERS]

On Tuesday's The Bold and the Beautiful, emotions boil over as Steffy and Finn slam the door on Luna, Sheila plays therapist-lite, and Liam gets way too sentimental with Hope—and then figures out she knows he's dying. More tissues please.

Steffy the Ice Queen, Luna the Outcast

Let’s start where the drama lit up—right at the cliff house, where Luna, bless her naive little heart, thought she could just waltz in and “see her father.” Girl, this isn’t a daytime therapy session. This is The Bold and the Beautiful, and if you show up at Steffy’s uninvited, you better expect to get the boot.

Luna's there after talking to Finn, eyes all dewy, wanting nothing more than a tearful reconnection with her father. Except Steffy’s face when she walks in? Pure stone-cold CEO energy. Steffy’s like, “What is she doing in my house?” Finn tries to play middleman, but let’s be real—he was not exactly thrilled either. Luna whines about needing closure and having daddy-daughter dreams, but Steffy shuts her down like she’s canceling Hope's fashion line. “You had your few minutes,” she snaps, basically tossing Luna to the Malibu curb.

Even Finn, who’s usually a human marshmallow, tells Luna there’s no room for her in his life. And honestly, he meant it. After watching Luna crumble and mumble that she won’t “bother them anymore,” it’s clear the cliff house has a no-entry sign with Luna’s name on it.

At Il Giardino, Sheila’s Got Opinions—and So Does Luna

Meanwhile, over at the world’s most chaotic Italian restaurant, Sheila’s busy sulking like someone replaced her martini with sparkling water. Deacon, always playing emotional support puppy, tries to coax her out of her brood-fest. He guesses she’s thinking about Finn and her grandbaby and—ding ding—he’s not wrong. But Sheila, of course, insists it’s not jealousy. No no, she’s just a “concerned mom.” Uh-huh. And I’m a Logan.

Deacon mentions staying away from Luna, and Sheila looks like someone just told her she can’t wear black anymore. But hey, she’s got no contact with her long-lost granddaughter, so it’s all good, right? Wrong. Because a few scenes later, guess who pops into Il Giardino like she owns the place? Luna, fresh off her humiliating rejection, looking for sympathy from the one woman more unhinged than her.

Sheila listens as Luna calls Steffy a manipulative little “bitch,” and while grandma doesn’t exactly co-sign the language, she doesn’t argue either. Sheila reminds Luna that Steffy is Finn’s wife, which basically means she’s untouchable. Luna does the whole “I took responsibility” monologue, but sweetie, apologizing doesn’t get you invited back to the Forrester brunch table.

Liam to Hope: "You Know"

And then there’s Hope and Liam. Oh, Hope. Poor, Hope—still trying to hide what Steffy told her. Liam starts getting heavy—real heavy. He tells her he’ll “always be with them,” and she knows. Which is weirdly cryptic, even for him.

Hope says she felt the same emotional weight before he even showed up, and honestly, maybe that’s her sixth sense kicking in, because this entire convo feels like a pre-funeral eulogy. They start reflecting on their epic history—raising Beth, cabin memories, that one time Liam tried to be a science dad and flopped hard. It’s all very sentimental, very cute… and very suspicious.

Liam starts talking up Carter again like he’s reading from a matchmaker script. “You and Carter are great together.” “You deserve someone like him.” Ok, Cupid. Hope reminds him they used to say the same sweet nothings about each other, which makes him chuckle. But the kicker? She thanks him for everything, and he just hugs her tight and says, “You know, don’t you?” Sir. If that’s not code for “I’m dying and you figured it out,” I don’t know what is.

Steffy and Finn Talk Boundaries (and Secrets)

Back at the cliff house, after they’ve effectively exorcised Luna, Steffy and Finn have a little post-eviction debrief. Finn says Luna caught him off guard, which is code for “I didn’t expect her to have the nerve.” Steffy hopes Luna finally got the message—and judging by her tail-between-legs exit, she did. They both agree boundaries are everything right now, especially when your surprise daughter is a walking scandal.

Then comes the drama twist: Finn is annoyed that Steffy spilled the beans to Hope about Liam’s situation. Finn’s all, “He didn’t want anyone to know,” but Steffy claps back with, “Hope needed to hear the truth.” And honestly? She’s not wrong. If Liam’s dying, Hope deserves a heads-up. Finn reluctantly agrees, and it’s clear Steffy’s loyalty isn’t just to her husband—it’s to the greater good of B&B truth bombs.
