Hope Gets the Worst News of Her Life
Hope Logan thought she was just having a regular day at her mother Brooke’s place—until Steffy Forrester walked in and casually flipped her whole life upside down. When Steffy says something’s wrong with Liam, Hope’s jaw drops like a Kardashian hearing the word “budget.” She doesn’t believe it. Denial? On brand. But Steffy isn’t messing around. “Hope, Liam is dying,” she blurts out like she’s ripping off a Band-Aid, and honey, Hope absolutely spirals.

Liam’s Grim Reality: Dizziness, Floaties & Facing the End
Over at the cliff house, Liam’s playing the “I’m fine” game with Finn, but he is not fine. He’s dizzy, seeing floaties, and clearly struggling to accept his terminal diagnosis. Finn tries to get him to sit his behind down and breathe, but Liam’s in this delusional mode where he wants to plan out his legacy instead of accepting help.

Finn hits him with some tough love: You need emotional support, bro. Tell your people. Tell your dad. Tell your brothers. And tell Hope, for crying out loud. But Liam, in typical stubborn fashion, doesn’t want anyone treating him like he’s already six feet under. He wants control—if not over the tumor, then at least over how people react to it.
Luna Isn’t Waiting Anymore: Her Bold Visit to Finn
Meanwhile, Luna is not here for the ghosting. She stops by into Il Giardino and finds her grandma Sheila, who’s weirdly proud that Deacon isn’t around. But Luna’s got one mission: get back into Finn’s life, whether Steffy likes it or not. She whines about being shut out, shaded, and straight-up shunned.

Luna tells Sheila she’s been treated like a walking scandal ever since the truth about her paternity dropped. And now, she’s over it. Steffy may be trying to keep her away, but Luna is done playing nice. She says, “I refuse to let Steffy keep me from my father,” and honestly? She meant that.
Cut to the cliff house, where Finn gets caught off guard when Luna shows up uninvited.

She made sure Steffy wasn’t home and ambushed her daddy. She misses him and is pulling every emotional string she’s got to get back into his life. Sorry Steffy, but Luna’s not backing down.
Hope & Steffy Break Down
Back at Brooke’s, Hope is unraveling like a really cheap sweater. She can’t believe Liam didn’t tell her. He’s been carrying this death sentence for weeks, and she just found out now? Steffy insists she only just learned too—and that she’s the one who dragged it out of him. Liam didn’t want anyone to know because he didn’t want to be a burden. Hope’s like, “A burden?! He’s the father of my child!”
They cry, they wail, and then they sob some more. Hope’s losing it thinking about Beth growing up without her dad. And when she finally realizes that Liam’s recent behavior was basically a soft goodbye tour, she gets physically sick. She clings to Steffy, heartbroken, desperate, devastated.
Steffy’s breaking too, because the question looming over both of them is the one no parent wants to face: How do you tell your little girls their daddy’s dying?
Liam Messages Bill & The Emotional Baggage of Dying Young
Before the episode ends, Liam is at Il Giardino waiting for Bill, texting him like this is just a casual lunch. Meanwhile, he’s looking through pictures of Hope, Steffy, and the girls, and barely holding it together. The man is dying and still trying to make sure everyone else is OK. Classic Liam.
Hope, back at Brooke’s, thanks Steffy for telling her even though the truth cut deep. They both know this is going to wreck their daughters, and they’re scared out of their minds. But one thing’s for sure—they’ll need each other to survive what’s coming.
Hold onto your tissues, because this storyline is about to drag every character through the emotional wringer—and we’ll be here for every single second of it.
