General Hospital Recap | Lulu Wants Answers After Lois Defends Gio - Wednesday, May 7, 2025 [SPOILERS]

Wednesday's General Hospital full episode recap has it all — family feuds, secret ops, suspicious professors, and one very shady credit card mix-up. From Dante's dad rage to Joss's undercover mission;  Emma's animal rights crusade and Lulu's next investigation, this GH recap is chaotic.

Beach Confessions, Aussie Suspicions & WSB Secrets — Oh My!

Let’s kick things off where it got real—on the beach with Joss and Emma. These two have been bonding lately, but Emma drops a bomb that sends shockwaves through Joss’s perfectly curated emotional wall. Turns out, Professor Dalton isn’t just your average hot-accented academic. According to Emma, he’s running some Frankenstein-level horror show in his lab, testing on dogs, not just rats. Dogs, y’all. Emma’s so committed to exposing this Aussie creep that she broke into his Berkeley lab, got kicked out of school, and slapped with an NDA. But guess what? She’s still coming for him like a one-woman WSB unit.

And speaking of the WSB… Joss is now officially their girl on the inside. After she spots Dalton at The Savoy (with Anna, of all people), she reports back to Brennan. They suspect Dalton is cooking up something dangerous, and the WSB wants in. Joss asks what the endgame is, and Brennan makes it crystal: Get close, stay close, and when the time is right—grab the goods. Oh, and if she sees Anna chatting up Dalton again? She better come running.

Kristina’s Emotional Maturity Moment (Wait, What?)

Meanwhile, over at Alexis’ place, Kristina pulls a full 180 and decides she’s ready to release her grudge against Ric and Ava. Yes, those Ric and Ava—the shady duo who basically turned her life into a Lifetime movie. Ric tries to sell his near-death experience as a rebirth, and Kristina shockingly accepts the peace offering. Ava’s face says it all—she wasn’t expecting the kumbaya moment either.

Molly comes home just in time to get caught up in the family therapy session, and Alexis makes another plea for forgiveness over her meddling ways. Kristina says she’s not over it, but she doesn’t want to lose her mom either. So, they all agree to play nice tomorrow over breakfast for Scout’s sake. Let’s see how long that lasts.

Dante Loses It, Lois Snaps Back — The Full Gio Situation

Somewhere in the drama vortex that is Port Charles, Dante is going full-blown attack dog on Gio over Rocco’s little brush with alcohol poisoning. Lois storms in like the Brooklyn mama bear she is, ready to defend her boy. Dante accuses Gio of irresponsibility, enabling, and pretty much every bad decision under the sun. Gio insists he didn’t give Rocco any booze, but Dante is on a rampage.

Lulu, watching from the sidelines, eventually intervenes before Dante bursts a vein. She calls him out—he’s scared, yes, but he’s going way too hard on Gio. Lois snaps back, pointing out that while Dante was off somewhere not being Dad of the Year, it was Gio who stuck around to help Rocco. Most kids would’ve bounced. But not Gio. Dante? He’s not trying to hear it.

Lois makes a mysterious call to her mom with a cryptic “If Dante only knew…” line, which sounds like there’s a major reveal simmering under the surface. Meanwhile, Lulu starts making voice memos to look into where Lois was when Gio was born. Hmm. Plot twist coming?

Joss, Vaughn & Brennan Play Spy Games

Back at the WSB office, Vaughn tells Brennan that Joss is following through on sabotaging Emma’s work—anything to get that assistant job and gain Dalton’s trust. Joss drops in and shares Emma’s shocking confession. Brennan orders her to keep her eye on the prize: Dalton’s high-tech project, which apparently has everyone from shadow agencies to brunch moms interested. And if Anna pokes her nose in again? Shut. It. Down.

Brook Lynn Keeps Secrets, Bartenders Get Nosy

Brook Lynn and Chase are having a sweet little date night at The Brown Dog, reminiscing about impending diaper duty and how supportive Tracy was when Brook Lynn confessed her baby drama. What she doesn’t share? That Dante is the father. Chase, bless his supportive heart, doesn’t feel burdened by that truth bomb—but he still keeps it to himself.

Then Cody swings by to break the news that Rocco's in the hospital. Brook Lynn tries to call her mom, but she’s MIA. Lois eventually shows up and rants about Dante’s meltdown on Gio. Brook Lynn asks why it’s hitting her so hard—Lois doesn’t answer. Suspicious much?

Meanwhile, the bartender makes a colossal mistake: he hands Cody Ava’s credit card. Cody notices it’s thicker than your average piece of plastic, which raises his eyebrows and ours. He hands it back, but not before noting that this is no ordinary Visa. Something shady’s up with that shiny new card of Ava’s, and it could blow up her and Ric’s scheme faster than a Corinthos family dinner fight.

Rocco’s Redemption & Dante’s Reality Check

At the hospital, Rocco has his heart-to-heart with Laura, admitting he didn’t plan to drink but got caught up in peer pressure. Been there, kid. Laura gives him a sweet lecture about hangovers and the joys of waiting until you’re 21. Dante and Lulu check in, and Rocco gives a heartfelt apology. Dante softens, promising his love will always be stronger than his anger. Aww.

Outside, Lulu watches that tender moment and hits record on another voice memo. This whole “Lois and Gio” origin story? She’s not letting it go.

Emma & Gio Bond Over Family Drama

Back on the beach, Gio finds Emma still hanging out and tells her what went down with Rocco and Dante. He’s heartbroken that Dante doesn't respect him anymore. Emma listens, and you can practically feel the slow build of a new dynamic forming—maybe more than just friends?
