Monday kicks things off with Steve and Shawn putting their heads together. Is it a brilliant plan or just more chaos disguised as strategy?
Chanel, clearly not here for nonsense, absolutely rips into EJ — and it’s about time someone did.
Chad is still trying to convince Cat to give whatever it is between them another shot, while Marlena pulls her usual therapist-who-knows-everything act with Johnny. She’s giving advice, but whether he takes it? That’s the real cliffhanger.

Tuesday in Salem is all about the mess. Tate tries to lift Sophia’s spirits — sweet, but let’s be honest, that usually goes sideways.
Doug III is giving Holly the cold shoulder, which is a bold move considering her level of drama.
Meanwhile, Shawn suddenly thinks he’s the town’s chief interrogator and goes in on Jada. But the real moment of the day? Gabi fully loses it. And when Gabi goes off, you know furniture’s about to be thrown, figuratively or otherwise.

On Wednesday, DOOL keeps the drama dripping. EJ takes a little detour from being awful and shares his plans with Dr. Russell — one can only assume it involves more scheming.
Kayla, queen of multitasking, manages to check two things off her to-do list at once.
Shawn and Belle share a sweet moment, which is great, because it’s been a minute since they were tolerable together.
Over in the land of bad boys, Alex spills a discovery to Xander, which probably has trouble written all over it.
And miracle of miracles, Philip finally apologizes to Stephanie. We’re stunned too.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers for Thursday, May 8
Thursday is basically the calm before the inevitable storm. Kayla tells EJ “thanks, but no thanks.”
Abe is being the comforting dad/father figure we all wish we had, holding Chanel together while she’s clearly crumbling.
Cat gifts Chad a hall pass — unclear what kind of pass this is, but considering this is Days, it’s probably not innocent.
Marlena once again inserts herself into Johnny’s emotional life, and Xander and Sarah? They’re packing for vacation like that’s not doomed. Bless their hearts.

By Friday, all that peace and optimism has been incinerated. Xander and Sarah’s dreamy vacation? Cancelled. Salem said, “not today.”
Chad and Cat are suddenly bonded by comforting poor Felicity, who just cannot catch a break.
EJ finally stops being a menace long enough to make a big promise: he’s going to protect Johnny, come hell or high water (or Marlena).
Alex is busy turning on the charm with Stephanie — again — and Javi, finally, opens up to Leo. Just imagine the drama when that secret gets out.
