Brady Juggles Daddy Duty and Boardroom Chaos
Brady swings by the hospital looking for updates on John and Bo, but the real circus is happening behind the scenes. Kayla, clearly done with the testosterone-fueled hospital takeover battle, wants a plan that won’t result in World War III. Meanwhile, Kristen calls in a favor: Rachel’s not doing so hot emotionally, and it’s clear this secret is chewing her up inside. Brady wants to march straight to the cops, but Kristen shuts that idea down fast. As for the board vote? It’s hanging by a thread and Kayla’s bright idea of an anonymous ballot is the only thing keeping it from becoming a total bloodbath.
Xander Plays Dirty, Then Gets Slammed With a Shocking Arrest
Xander, ever the hot-headed Scotsman, is spiraling. He’s making angry calls about custody, reminiscing about baby Victoria, and storming around like he already owns the hospital. Maggie’s not having it—she and Julie form a wall of fierce grandmas to block him from Sarah and her baby. Xander, thinking he’s got this vote in the bag, doesn’t realize he’s about to be blindsided. EJ Plays the Victim While the DiMeras Close Ranks
EJ’s hobbling through the square, haunted by imaginary gunshots and dragging his cane like a Shakespearean villain. Chad rushes to his aid and gets the usual cold DiMera brush-off before EJ gets down to business: it’s time for the family to unite. They lost Stefano’s empire, but the hospital? That’s their next big power grab. Chad, loyal despite the sass, agrees to back his brother.
Later, EJ tries to play nice with Belle, offering condolences over John. Too bad Brady overhears and absolutely loses it. The hypocrisy is just too much. A shouting match nearly breaks out until Belle jumps in like a courtroom queen to shut it down.
The Vote Hangs in the Balance, and Everyone’s Miserable About It
Back at the hospital, Kayla’s plan is in motion, the votes are in, and everyone looks like they’d rather be doing literally anything else. It’s a tie, and Brady’s got the deciding vote in his hand. But before he can drop the final verdict, Jada strolls in like a boss and arrests Xander in front of everyone. Talk about dramatic timing.
And that’s where we leave it—Xander in cuffs, EJ smirking like it’s Christmas morning, and Brady holding the fate of the hospital in his very tense hands. Only on Days of Our Lives could a board meeting feel like a cage match.
