On Monday’s Days of Our Lives full episode recap, chaos came gift-wrapped with a side of bruised egos, bruised knuckles, and a big ol’ manuscript. While Stephanie flip-flopped, Xander unleashed years of pent-up rage on Philip, who may need a miracle — or at least a few more organs — to survive. Oh, and somewhere in the madness, Shawn and Steve found the world’s most nervous drug thief.

Stephanie’s Smut Saga Swings Back Around
Alex, ever the smooth talker, tried to woo Kate into reviving Titan Publishing with a spicy little manuscript that just screams “anonymous author with major issues.” Kate gave it a skim and raised a very well-groomed eyebrow. She might be interested — but only if it’s not some scam. Alex swears it’s legit, and Kate sashays off with promises to read it.
Meanwhile, at her place, Stephanie was in caffeine-sharing mode with Jada before realizing her manuscript was gasp missing. Cue frantic apartment toss. But instead of finding it, she dragged Jada to Sweet Bits for muffins and mild panic.
Xander Delivers a Beatdown — And Not the Fun Kind
While Sarah and Maggie were worrying about Xander’s disappearance and what sort of foolishness he might be up to, the man himself was busy proving them right. Over at Philip’s, things took a sharp left turn into attempted murder territory. Xander beat Philip to a pulp while ranting about Victor, shame, and family disgrace. Then, just as he turned to leave, Philip croaked out the worst possible last word: “Sarah… knew.”
Boom. Xander’s whole world tilted. He took a peek at Philip’s phone and stormed off — right before Kate walked in and screamed like the mom of a nearly-dead man, which she is.
Shawn and Steve Play Cop Tag in the Town Square
Shawn, who was allegedly “out sick,” met Steve to chat not-so-covertly about that stolen sepsis drug, Versavix. They cooked up a plan to lure Kevin, Shawn’s old high school buddy, into a meet-up. Turns out, Kevin was busy panic-dialing Philip and ducking calls from Dr. Russell, but he couldn’t ignore Shawn.
When Kevin finally arrived in the square, Jada and Stephanie popped by for a hot second, and then Alex showed up, catching the scent of drama from a mile away. He and Stephanie clocked the suspicious bro-fest, but the moment got cut short when Xander rushed past, all flustered and covered in guilt vibes.
Stephanie got distracted enough to remember her manuscript dilemma. Alex had it. And guess what? She didn’t want it published anymore. Bold move for someone who just offered literary porn to her ex's mom.
Kevin Confesses — But It’s Not Good News
When Steve and Shawn finally got Kevin to talk, it all spilled out: Philip asked him to steal the drug. Kevin, being a wreck in human form, panicked, stole the entire stash, then handed it off to his roommate at the hospital. But now the roommate’s vanished. So yeah, nobody knows where the drug is, which is super comforting.
Philip Fights for His Life and Everyone Points at Xander
Philip was rushed to the hospital with all the grace of a dropped ragdoll. Sarah stepped in to treat him while Kate kept pacing and blaming Xander for everything, conveniently forgetting that little part where Philip faked his death.
Jada showed up with her detective face on and started connecting all the obvious dots. Meanwhile, Sarah assessed Philip’s injuries: they were bad. We’re talking “organ damage” bad.
Xander Gets Home and Maggie Smells Something Off
Back at the house, Xander tried icing his bloody knuckles like he just got back from a bar brawl instead of nearly killing someone. Maggie saw right through him, especially when he dodged questions about Sarah. She told him to give her daughter a call, but Xander clearly had his own questions brewing.
Stephanie Shuts It Down, Jada Turns Up the Heat
Alex tried one last time to push Stephanie into publishing her sultry tale, but she shut him down hard. It’s a no from her, folks. She’s not risking her secret getting out.
At the hospital, Sarah gave the rundown: Philip’s stable, barely. Jada, wasting no time, wanted to know where the hell Xander was. Because let’s be real — he’s the most obvious suspect in Salem right now, and his guilty little sprint through town didn’t help.
One Drug, Two Detectives, and a Missing Roommate
Shawn and Steve told Kevin to get his mysterious roommate on the line and retrieve that stolen Versavix. But the guy wasn’t answering. Neither was anyone who knew where he was. And just like that, the miracle drug that could save EJ and maybe even Philip? Still MIA.
