Ted’s Dream Kiss Goes Nightmare Mode

Meanwhile, Ted's part of a dream sequence worthy of a horror film. He storms into Leslie’s apartment, all heat and regret, kisses her like it’s a soap opera finale, then declares it meant nothing. That’s right, he kisses her and then calls her a monster. Wake up, Leslie! Because yep, it was just a dream.

Bill & Hayley: The Snarky Commentary Team We Deserve

Cut to Bill and Hayley, casually debriefing the night’s disaster while cuddling and joking about possibly making a baby. Romantic? Questionable. Enter Ted, dramatically still in his party suit, raging about how Bill kept Eva’s existence from him. Bill, who has all the emotional depth of a cereal box, admits he never planned to hurt Leslie—he just wanted her scared. Charming.

He tells Ted he should’ve just asked like a grown-up and then reminds him that Duprees don’t let go of grudges. Hayley chimes in with the best line of the show, reminiscing about how nothing beats a gunshot wedding like Eva crashing a party.

Nicole’s Office: Now Accepting Apologies and Febreze

Over at Nicole’s office, Eva is doing the walk of shame in her party dress and packing up her desk. Nicole walks in, shocked to see her, and behind her? Dani—ready to pounce. Eva tries to explain herself but ends up crying into a bottle of Febreze. Dani comforts her sister with chocolate, a bubble bath, and a teddy bear, because trauma needs layers.

Dani, in her infinite wisdom, suggests maybe Ted’s betrayal was just a twisted act of love. Nicole is unimpressed. She’s not here to romanticize lies and secret children. She shuts Dani down hard. No amount of forgiveness fantasies or romantic what-ifs can fix this. Nicole is stuck—unmoving, unfeeling, and definitely not ready to forgive her cheating husband who paid off his ex to disappear.

Nicole’s Apology Tour Stops at Vernon & Anita’s

Nicole heads to Vernon and Anita’s next, ready to apologize for dragging the family through yet another front-page scandal. They reassure her (because they’re saints) that she couldn’t have done anything to stop it. But seeing their perfect couple vibes just reminds Nicole how broken her own marriage is. Salt. Meet wound.

Leslie Throws Out Eva

Elsewhere, Eva decides to go home. Mistake. Leslie greets her at the door with the emotional warmth of a glacier. She lays it all out: “I gave birth to you, I raised you, and you betrayed me.” Eva claps back, blaming Leslie for hiding her from Ted her entire life.

Leslie’s response? Cold. Calculated. And final: “I can’t live with somebody I can’t trust.” Translation: Get out. Oh, and she doesn’t care that Eva spent the night in her car. Ice. Cold.

Daddy-Daughter Do-Over?

With nowhere else to go, Eva knocks on Ted’s hotel door.

This time, he actually listens. Eva’s honest—she just wanted to meet her dad. And now that they’ve met, she hopes they can be something to each other. She also spills that Leslie masterminded the plot against Nicole and manipulated Eva into thinking hurting her was the way to hurt Ted. Real talk from Eva? Who knew. Ted, surprisingly, agrees to start over. Fresh slate, awkward bonding, and all.

Kat's Not Here for Sibling Bonds

Meanwhile, Kat finds out Eva’s her sister and is immediately like, “Cool story, but no thanks.” She tells Tomás that DNA is not enough to earn family privileges. Tomás, ever the rational one, suggests Kat might want to redirect her rage at the man who actually cheated—Ted. Kat doesn’t want to hear it. She makes Tomás promise not to spend another second with Eva. Before he can answer? Whoops, conveniently timed work text!

Dani Has Some Words for Bill

Dani’s final stop of the day? Bill’s house. This time, she’s not throwing shade at Hayley. She’s got beef with her ex—threats, affairs, and all.
