Carter Puts a Ring on It—Like, Literally
Hope wasn’t ready for this glow-up of a night. One minute she’s cuddled up with Carter, reminiscing about his messy betrayal and little lip-lock with Daphne, and the next—bam—he’s serving up candles, wine, and promises like it’s a Hallmark movie with better lighting. Carter wants a fresh start, a forever kind of thing, and he’s not shy about it. He hits one knee, busts out a sparkler that could blind half of L.A., and asks Hope to be his wife. Hope’s left breathless, and no, it’s not just the wine—it’s the proposal she didn’t see coming.
Daphne Is Done Playing Second String
Over at Forrester, Daphne’s bags are packed, and her patience is officially out of stock. She gets the heads-up from Deuce that the jet’s ready, and let’s be real—so is she. Steffy walks in just in time to catch the fallout. Daphne lets her know Hope’s return was the final straw, especially since it meant Carter went running back to his ex like clockwork. She was falling for him, thinking there might be a real future there. Big mistake. Huge. Now she’s Paris-bound with a bruised heart, a bottle of champagne, and a hard lesson about falling for emotionally unavailable men in tailored suits.
Liam Drops Truth Bombs—and Nearly Himself
Meanwhile, at the cliff house, Liam’s popping pills and nearly collapsing like it’s a normal Monday. Finn walks in post-run and catches him mid-fall, which kicks off an intense heart-to-heart. Liam admits the episodes are coming fast and furious, and the treatment decision is eating him alive. He’s seen chemo chew people up and spit them out, and he’s terrified of what it might do—not to him, but to his daughters. Finn’s trying to keep him grounded, but Liam’s already thinking about life after he's gone. He tells Finn that he and maybe even Carter will need to be there when he can’t be. It’s heavy. It’s raw. And yes, it’s a lot for a guy in running shorts to process.
On a Jet With Heartache and Champagne
Daphne’s officially wheels-up, but she’s not exactly toasting to new adventures. While Deuce tries to charm her with flirty banter and fresh bubbly, she’s lost in the whirlwind of her crumbling dream with Carter. She stares out that window like the end of a sad romance movie, reliving every sweet moment that now feels like a cruel setup. She may be heading back to Paris, but her heart’s still stuck in L.A.—shattered and surrounded by designer drama.
