Kat vs. Eva: The Wig Snatches Back
Kat is done playing nice. She’s got her eye on Eva like a hawk in heels, and with her parents’ anniversary party creeping up like a bad ex, she’s running out of time to unmask Eva for the master manipulator she is. Kat enlists Tomas, who at first plays devil’s advocate, trying to convince her she’s just being paranoid. Cute of him to try.
But then Kat casually mentions that she met Eva’s “surrogate,” a woman named Anna, and BOOM — Tomas’ eyes light up like someone just whispered the Wi-Fi password. He remembers Eva saying the real name of her surrogate was Leslie, and suddenly Kat’s theory isn’t sounding so crazy after all. Poor Tomas didn’t mean to hand over a flame thrower, but Kat’s ready to burn it all down with that intel.
Hospital Drama & Potassium Shenanigans
Elsewhere, Nicole visits Laura in the hospital, who’s apparently recovering from a heart attack caused by a sudden spike in potassium. Yeah, potassium. Like… bananas? Except there’s no smoothie in sight, so Nicole starts asking questions. Laura claims Eva dropped off some get-well flowers, allegedly from Nicole. Suspicious? Yes. Meanwhile, Eva and Leslie are mid-verbal catfight about which of them is the bigger liar. Eva’s mad about Leslie rocking wigs like it’s a costume party, and Leslie’s dragging Eva over some shady texts. They’re both right, which is the delicious part. Leslie even throws some passive-aggressive shade, wondering if Eva’s suddenly getting soft. “Maybe your loyalty is getting twisted,” she says, like she didn’t just encourage Eva to commit vehicular manslaughter last month.
Kat Gets Face-to-Face with Miss “Anna”
Let’s talk about the moment Kat finally meets the real Leslie — or as she first knew her, Anna the Friendly Surrogate. Hayley, trying to be supportive or something, tells him it’s okay to feel a little relieved. She knows he was hesitant about being a late-in-life dad.
