The Young and the Restless Full Episode Recap - Tuesday, March 4, 2025

A Kidnapping, A Catfight, and A Cryptic Riddle
Phyllis and Sharon locked in a room together? That’s not a kidnapping—it’s a social experiment gone wrong. Meanwhile, Nick, Summer, and Billy are running around Genoa City trying to figure out what happened, but all they’ve got so far is a lot of bad news and zero answers. Buckle up, because this Y&R full episode recap is a wild ride filled with sass, suspicion, and one seriously dramatic standoff.

Phyllis & Sharon | CBS

Where in the World Are Sharon and Phyllis?

At Crimson Lights, Esther is busy playing Genoa City’s nosiest barista, trying to track down Sharon. Because, apparently, the woman can’t even take a trip without someone assuming she’s in trouble. But oh, wait—turns out she didn’t check into that Sedona spa she supposedly ran off to. Meanwhile, Chance drops a bombshell: there’s no record of Sharon flying anywhere, and her car is missing. Translation? Sharon is officially MIA.

At the Abbott mansion, Billy and Daniel are having a little Phyllis-related panic session of their own. Because—surprise, surprise—she’s also missing. And get this: both Sharon and Phyllis called from burner phones around the same time. Coincidence? Not in Genoa City.

Phyllis and Sharon: Hostages or Frenemies in Lockup?

While their loved ones are playing detective, Sharon and Phyllis wake up in what looks like a discount escape room. Phyllis is already over it, while Sharon is flipping through old books, convinced their kidnapper is connected to some psych ward history. Phyllis, of course, thinks this is a waste of time and comes up with a plan that’s so on brand: negotiate their way out using Victor’s money. Because when in doubt, shake down a Newman.

Meanwhile, Billy and Daniel start connecting dots that nobody else wants to. If Phyllis was truly done with her revenge tour, why would she and Sharon disappear at the exact same time? Either they’re together by force, or one of them had a seriously unhinged vacation idea.

Detective Work or Just Wild Theories?

Back at Crimson Lights, Summer and Nick are brainstorming theories that range from reasonable to completely ridiculous. Could Phyllis have kidnapped Sharon? Could Sharon have kidnapped Phyllis? (Yes, those are actual theories, because this town refuses to rule anything out.) And let’s not forget the big question: Who even hates both of them enough to do this?

Chance, ever the professional, is trying to trace those burner phone calls. Meanwhile, Nick is doing his best to reassure Summer—but let’s be real, his "99.9% sure this is bad" speech isn’t helping anyone feel better.

Meanwhile, in Hostage Hell...

Things in the mystery bunker go from bad to worse. After throwing some A+ insults, Phyllis straight-up challenges Sharon to a fight. Because, clearly, what this situation really needs is a catfight. Phyllis blames Sharon for their predicament, calling out her past psychiatric stays like they’re relevant right now. Sharon, bless her patience, tries to be the voice of reason. But when Phyllis decides she’s had enough and grabs a chair to break a window, Sharon freaks out.

Cue a brief wrestling match over the chair, because nothing says "great decision-making" like destroying your only shelter in what might be a freezing cold nightmare. Sharon finally backs off, and instead of going full WWE, she throws an arm around Phyllis, defeated.

That’s when their captor (because yes, there is someone watching) drops a cryptic riddle: "What is worth everything but costs nothing?"

Still Clueless

Chance finally gets a break in the case—Sharon’s car is parked at Cassidy First. Translation? They’ve got a lead, but still no idea who did this or why. Meanwhile, Esther is out here making sure she doesn’t miss her coffee ground reading (because priorities). Nick, Billy, and Summer are left grasping at straws, trying to figure out who would kidnap both Phyllis and Sharon—and whether they’ll make it out alive.

Who’s Behind This Mess?

This episode of The Young and the Restless left us with more questions than answers. Who’s behind the kidnapping? What does the riddle mean? And most importantly—how long before Phyllis and Sharon actually try to kill each other? Stay tuned, because this mystery is just getting started.
