And while his official reason for stopping by is concern, let’s be real—this boy is here to pine. When Sophia asks about his girlfriend, he admits things are tense. Between their fight about Doug and Holly’s questionable priorities, things are looking grim.

Just when things are getting good, Amy calls with a big update—her meeting with Paulina was a win! Adoption might actually be happening! But before we pop the champagne, Sophia reminds everyone that EJ is still lurking like the bad decision he is. Cue dramatic pause.

Holly’s Bad Idea: Breaking and Entering, but Make It Fashion

Over at Doug’s place, Holly drops in and immediately suggests they solve their little necklace problem the old-fashioned way—breaking into Melinda’s apartment and stealing it back. Because that’s a reasonable plan, right? Doug, in the middle of a shirtless workout (yes, you read that right), listens to her elaborate scheme like he’s watching an out-of-control soap plot unfold in real-time.

While Doug loves her enthusiasm (and the sheer audacity), even he knows this is a one-way ticket to jail. Instead, he insists on handling his own mess, and just like that, Holly backs down. For now.

EJ and Belle: Breaking the Laws of Morality (Again)

EJ DiMera, ever the optimist (or delusional, take your pick), shows up at Belle’s door with a classic EJ line: "You have to listen to me." Because that always works. He lays on the charm, insisting he misses her, he can’t stop thinking about her, and blah blah blah—the usual EJ special.

Belle, however, is not here for his nonsense. She tears into him about Jada, Ava, and the never-ending list of people he’s wronged. But before we can hand her a standing ovation, EJ does what he does best—manipulates the situation. She slips and calls him her boyfriend (girl, no!), which is all the encouragement he needs to move in closer. Next thing you know, clothes are flying, and mistakes are being made.

The regret sets in immediately. Belle realizes this could ruin her career if Paulina finds out, but EJ, ever the smooth talker, suggests the obvious solution—don’t tell her. Wow, genius. Belle sees through him, though, and accuses him of using seduction as a legal strategy. Busted. She literally shoves him out of bed, and for the first time all episode, we applaud her choices.

Johnny Learns the Truth—and It’s Ugly

Over at the pub, Johnny gets hit with a truth bomb he never saw coming. Grandpa Roman drops a casual comparison between EJ and a rapist (yikes), and when Johnny presses Kate for answers, she finally spills: EJ raped Sami.

Johnny is shook. When he puts the timeline together, it hits him—this isn’t just a horrible crime. This is his origin story.

"Oh my God. That’s the story of how I was conceived."

Kate tries to soften the blow, but the damage is done. Johnny storms out, rage boiling over.

Paulina’s Revenge Plot: EJ, Your Time is Up

While Johnny is processing his entire existence, Paulina is at the mansion, gloating about her meeting with Amy. But the real highlight? Her plan to bury EJ.

She confidently tells Chanel that EJ’s days of tormenting Salem are numbered. Even Belle, she insists, is on board. (Plot twist: She’s absolutely not!) But Chanel, ever the voice of reason, reminds her that EJ is still Johnny’s dad. Paulina shrugs. Not my problem!

Johnny vs. EJ: A DiMera Smackdown

And now, for the moment we’ve all been waiting for.

EJ walks into the mansion, looking smug as ever. He tries to apologize to Chanel for his latest disaster, but before he can finish his sentence, Johnny storms in and lets his fist do the talking.
