Claire Reaches Her Boiling Point

Claire had no intention of letting Kyle sneak into Cole’s memorial like some gatecrasher. She stood her ground and made it clear that Victor doesn’t get to decide who belongs at her father’s service. Once the Newman ladies rolled up to the main house with Kyle in tow, Victor greeted everyone politely — except Kyle. Subtle, right? Claire clocked the shade and had enough.

Cane’s Dream Team Assembles in Secret

Meanwhile, over at Cane’s surprisingly humble suite (no penthouse for him, thank you), Phyllis arrived ready to talk shop. She was not expecting Billy to walk in with a smug smile and a choo choo train gift. Yes, a train. The two exchanged their usual petty jabs while Cane revealed his big pitch. He wants to take over Genoa City’s corporate elite and merge all the major players into one mega-entity. Bold? Absolutely. Delusional? Possibly.

Cane says he needs a tight crew he can trust. Billy’s skeptical, but intrigued. Phyllis wants to know what happens if she says no and runs to Jack. Cane challenges her to stay and find out. Billy, ever the wildcard, says he’ll think about it. That’s code for “I’m in, but I’m pretending to be principled.”

Victor Has No Time for Excuses

Back at the ranch, Victor was fuming. He confronted Adam about slacking off while they were in Nice. No hit pieces on Billy? That wasn’t what he asked for. Nick tried to talk him down, calling Billy a small fish. But Victor sees a bigger picture — he’s convinced Cane is using Billy and wants him added to the Newman Media takedown list. Adam isn’t thrilled, and Chelsea’s worried too. She doesn’t want to see Billy get dragged into this, but Nick made it clear. Adam has to choose a side.

Lily Feels Betrayed and Broken

Lily had no clue Cane was recently in Genoa City until Chelsea casually dropped the bomb. When she learned there was a secret exit out of the chateau the entire time, she was furious. There’s no coming back from this. She doesn’t even recognize Cane anymore. While she puts off telling the twins that their father’s been lying for six years, she records a heartbreaking voicemail asking them to reach out. He wants to explain, but will they want to hear it?

Chelsea and Claire Have Their Moments

Chelsea offered comfort to Lily and warned her that the Newmans are also on edge about Cane. As for Claire, her poem at Cole’s service brought the room to tears. Nikki and Victoria were there to support her, and Kyle stayed by her side. But the real shock came when Victor toasted Cole and somehow turned it into a dig at Kyle. Claire wasn’t having it. Her rage had been simmering, and Victor’s speech lit the match. After the memorial, she finally exploded. Her dad supported her. So did her mother and grandmother. Victor? Not so much. Claire delivered the final word, declared she was done, with Victor and stormed out with Kyle right behind her.

Will Billy Cross the Line?

Cane laid it out: Chancellor and Newman are on the hit list, and he’s not ruling out Abbott Communications either. That’s when Billy got quiet. Targeting your own family’s company? That’s a new level. Cane claims his reasons are personal, and he just wants loyalty. Phyllis looks ready to roll, but Billy’s not quite there yet. Still, something tells us this train’s already moving — and Billy might be riding it straight into disaster.
