Li Saves Luna in Secret

At Li’s place, Luna lies unconscious as Li and Sheila hover. Sheila cannot believe her granddaughter survived, and Li admits that saving her was not something she planned… until she realized Luna’s life was literally in her hands. She tells Sheila that her feelings shifted in that moment. This was her niece, her granddaughter, and despite her mother’s mistakes, Li could not stand by and let her die.

Sheila points out that Li could have saved her at the hospital, but Li says doing that would have landed her in prison for life. She came close to letting Luna go, but instead smuggled her away, hoping to give her a chance at redemption. Now, it is a waiting game. If she stays unconscious too long, the outcome could be grim.

The Office Crowd Celebrates Too Soon

At Forrester, Will and Electra are in their own little world, making out and praising the doctors who saved Will’s life. They are also feeling quite smug about Luna being out of the picture, crediting Will’s brother for making it happen. Across the hall, Bill tells Katie he will always be indebted to Grace Buckingham — which is about to age like milk. Ivy arrives to check on Liam, and when Will confirms he survived, she and Electra bond over the relief… and the fact that they think Luna is gone forever.

Bill Learns the Truth About Grace

At Bill’s place, Hope and Liam are pacing like caged animals as they rant about Grace’s million-dollar con. Liam fumes over the fact that he never had brain cancer, and Hope reminds him Grace put him through hell for a payout to cover her ex’s gambling debts.

When Finn calls to say Grace turned herself in, Liam decides Bill needs to hear it straight from them. Bill arrives expecting routine news, only for Liam and Hope to lay out the scam in detail. Bill is floored that the million dollars he wired was used to pay off Reece’s debts, and that Grace fabricated a fatal diagnosis when Liam merely had a brain bleed. As the pieces click into place, Bill’s temper boils over. His voice drops to that dangerous tone we all know too well as he vows Grace will regret ever crossing him.

Luna Opens Her Eyes

Back at Li’s, she swears Sheila to secrecy about Luna’s condition. Sheila takes a moment alone with her granddaughter, encouraging her to wake up. Miraculously, Luna squeezes her hand, prompting Li to rush back in. When Luna’s eyes finally flutter open, she is greeted by the sight of both her grandmothers smiling down at her. The shock and joy on her face says it all — she has no idea what kind of storm she’s waking up to.
